Fibromyalgia is not a mystery illness, it is a misread signal. I propose that fibromyalgia is the chronic expression of unresolved trauma and sensory overload stored within the body’s fascial system. This widespread connective tissue matrix, long overlooked in clinical frameworks, holds the key to understanding the diffuse pain, fatigue, and cognitive dysfunction seen in fibromyalgia. I hypothesize that psilocybin facilitates a neurofascial reset by inducing temporary dissolution of rigid somatic patterns, restoring interoceptive clarity, and reintegrating the brain-body relationship. Psilocybin, under safe and intentional conditions, may not simply reduce symptoms but recalibrate the fascia–nervous system interface, allowing for lasting resolution of fibromyalgia’s root cause.

Fibromyalgia is a fascia-based disorder of somatic memory, neuroinflammation, and disintegrated sensory processing, psilocybin enables a reset of these maladaptive patterns by reopening neurofascial communication channels and releasing chronic, subconscious holding patterns stored in connective tissue.
