@RickStrahl Yeah not sure. Android will probably do the expected thing and not allow the user to zoom in by more than factor 1. No matter what you do you will break some users’ expectations. At least font-size is is a visual change that is most likely ok ui-wise
@danielbryantuk Isn’t this something Microsoft is trying to tackle with Orleans https://t.co/0ViVHYfG5v .NET oriented solution for now but with so much potential
@iamvlaaaaaaad That being said, I think there's still probably room for some kind of team-to-fill-some-gaps-on-our-ci-cd-pipeline. Things like observability, security, first-time set ups, etc. But even those they just take some IaC mentality and someones' couple of hours every other week.
@iamvlaaaaaaad Historically this goes further back. More like 2008-ish, during the Agile crazyness, and from a time where dedicated servers were predominant. DevOps went from a set of practices straight up to being a full-blown damn role.
@JenMsft@JuanDRodriguez1@windowsinsider Taskbar is empty. I can see the files on the desktop tho. Also explorer.exe is in a “not responding” state in task manager
Hi @aspnet. Question: any guidance on updating Microsoft.* 5.x packages in an netcoreapp3.1? From what I understand from a tooling and netstandard perspective nothing stop us from doing it. I guess I’m looking for an official position/docs on this? Cc @shanselman@davidfowl ty
@msimas@aspnet@shanselman@davidfowl Nuget manager understands package versioning ranges resolution (https://t.co/yPBfuXSRcb) it’s just a pain to change csprojs throughout all our code base. If it’s worth the pain? I dunno. Maybe. Guess it depends on ci/cd setup as well
This case in particular is for an ASP core app. Not sure that matters. We don’t want to upgrade to 5 as it’s not LTS so we’re in this in between state where for example dependabot/csprojs might need to be adjusted to not upgrade to >=5 nugets
Anyone running ops @VodafoneUK that follows me by chance? It appears they're blocking our @fastly IPs for reasons unknown which is affecting all Stack Exchange Q&A sites (including Stack Overflow). I'm trying to get in touch so we can get this sorted.
