Journalist: Sir what's your take On the issue of insecurity?
Tinubu: That is the love, obedience of law. Nowhere in the holy teaching that you should engage in banditry, nowhere that you should kill another human being. The sacrifice we're talking about, if in the beginning of life where we take this from. A child was replaced with animal and that is what is value of life is all about.
See who ronu crack heads call intelligent, always talking off point.
And also thanks to African governments who have refused to invest in HIV medication. There is absolutely no reason why nearly 30 years later African governments are not equipped to deal with HIV.
Made a video a while back talking about corruption in Africa, specifically Nigeria. It is a different kind of corruption, it is laced with a special kind of evil. They don’t steal because they want it for themselves. They steal because they want the people to lack.
You’ve got to admire the sheer chutzpah of African govts in using first world technology/techniques in taxation/extortion of the citizenry but applying 10th world standards in service delivery …🤔🤔😭😭😳😳😳
My limited study of CSA (child sex abuse) began 25 years ago when I was a behavioral therapist with emotionally disturbed children. I understand my claim seems radical, but here's what I learned: 1/
When something tragic happens to Muslims, Muslim stakeholders don’t wait for the government.
They take action. Their governors, clerics, scholars, activists, and influencers swing into motion.
Heck, didn’t about 33 Muslim SANs provide legal defense for the killers of Deborah?
But it is not so with us Christians in the Nigerian church. Muslim authorities take the protection of Muslims as their responsibility.
Even though they are the terrorists, killers, and aggressors, their leaders and institutions still mount a defense for them.
But this is not the case for the Nigerian church, who are being innocently killed by Muslims.
It doesn’t matter how many people Muslim terrorists kill in Jos, Kwara, Kano, or Borno.
It doesn’t matter how many priests or friars are kidnapped.
It doesn’t matter how many pastors are burned in their cars, or how many Christians are killed in their homes.
It doesn’t matter.
Hardly any prominent pastor makes a strong, demanding statement to the government.
We rarely see a coalition of influential ministers making firm, decisive statements or petitioning the government.
It seems that no matter the tragedy, our conferences still go on.
Our music concerts are still held as scheduled. We still shut down stadiums.
We still gather and gleefully upload arrival reels in our exotic cars on social media.
We are dying, and yet we are at ease.
The Bible places a woe on that:
“Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who feel secure on the mountain of Samaria…” — Amos 6:1
The reason we behave this way in the South is because we think what is happening in the North will not reach us.
Judah thought so too. They believed the calamity that befell Northern Israel at the hands of the Assyrians would not happen to them in the South.
But it did.
And remember, we are meant to stand for one another.
Mordecai told Esther that she had been placed in power so she could use her position to save her people:
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place… And who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14
So what is the essence of the money, access, power, reach, and influence we constantly boast about, if we cannot use them to help save our own people?
90% of all the Africans that were enslaved were raided, captured, and delivered to the Europeans BY AFRICANS.
Before that, Africans had sold 10 million Africans to the Arabs during the Trans-Saharan Slave Trade.
The Arabs castrated their slaves.
Holding Europeans “accountable” for slavery is gravely misguided, and another attempt to fabricate an illusion of existential excuse for the consistent self-inflicted failure of Africans to self actualize.
Europeans didn’t invent slavery. Humans invented slavery.
Egyptians had slaves.
Babylonians had slaves.
Persians had slaves.
Greeks had slaves.
Romans had slaves.
The English had slaves.
Africans had slaves.
Humans were the first exchanged good amongst humans.
But slavery didn’t remain after the Europeans. Britain abolished slavery.
Britain lost around 2,000 naval officers on the sea enforcing abolition laws on African rulers who kept enslaving.
Britain paid around 20 million pounds to free all slaves. The only fully paid the loan this 2015.
No one should pay reparations for slavery. It is not the sin of any one group.
Africans shouldn’t use an event that occurred 400 years ago as an excuse for lack of self actualization.
Someone asked a valid question under the cs on TikTok.
The question was, ‘what did you achieve before marriage?’
Like it or not, marriage is an amplifier.
If you lacked the capacity to dream before marriage, it won't fall on you as a married person.
I understand that life get as e be but truth is this, refusing to do anything with your life for 14years is a choice.
She can always start afresh but if you need excuses, life will supply them in quantum.
Im here watching that NSA video for the 10th time, and I still can't grasp what he's saying, it doesn't make sense in any way.
Words like that coming from a National Security Adviser tell you everything about the escalation of banditry in the north.
He can’t k!ll his brothers.
The body language of the NSA while talking about the terrorists bandits tells you everything you need to know about why they’re still on a killing spree. If we remember, Mallam Muni Koza mentioned something very disturbing about this issue over a year ago. 💔
This is connected to the death of quality television in Nigeria.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Gulder Ultimate Search, Superstory etc shows that rewarded intelligence, resilience and storytelling. They shaped a generation.
Now we’ve replaced them with skits that celebrate ignorance and degeneracy and we’re surprised at the kind of people we’re platforming and celebrating?
You consume garbage long enough, you start producing it fr
Asians get this concept like mad.
Lee Kuan Yew explains why young people in poorer countries shouldn't try to imitate the "soft life" that Western countries portray.
Working your way out of poverty is seriously hard work.
They can partner with other countries to chase taxes, but won’t partner with other countries to fight terrorism or improve the amenities that will make the life of even these remote workers & general populace better.
Bloody thieves.
Imagine being in front of @piersmorgan and lie to his face like this that you did not say the guy is a fool? Even if you are the prime minister, Piers will tell you Mr Minister, let me play the tape for you.
Our journalists lack balls, Nigerians lack balls. We are defeated and have accepted defeat.
I woke up today angry and I’ve been on Twitter since 6am, this is not normal!!
