'WICKED AND HEINOUS': ICE has lodged a detainer for a criminal illegal immigrant who was arrested for allegedly hurling a baseball-sized rock into a school bus and fracturing an 8-year-old girl’s skull in New Jersey.

DHS says the detainer is to ensure Hernando Garcia-Morales remains in custody after he was previously released back into New Jersey communities despite a long criminal history with prior arrests for burglary, weapons possession and theft.

"Hernando Garcia-Morales should have never been in this country, let alone released after multiple arrests into New Jersey communities," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.
