Climate chnge, drought & old age also factors. This man went to a lot of trouble to bring in trees that had died naturally & fallen over, logs etc from elsewhere. You can see all the trees that are still standing in the area, he obviously has not cleared.

With the help of $10k from DPIE I'm looking at how increased temperature from climate change will impact soil microbes and if vegetation type and cover can buffer this
Its been 4months now and already seeing some interesting results in these climate chambers
