BREAKING: CNN boldly stands up to Trump and REFUSES to back down after he attacked their Iran ceasefire reporting as "FRAUD," demanded a retraction, and threatened an investigation.

This is journalistic integrity at its finest...

“The statement in question was obtained by CNN from Iranian officials and reported on multiple Iranian state media outlets. We received the statement from specific official Iranian spokespeople who are known to us," CNN posted on X in response to a post from corrupt FCC Chair Brendan Carr whining about their "fake news" reportng.

The reporting in question quoted Iranian officials as having described the ceasefire as a "great victory" for their nation and a "crushing defeat" for Trump that he agreed to in order to reopen the Straight of Hormuz. The Iranians also (correctly) described the war as "unfair, unlawful, and criminal."

Trump saw the coverage and promptly had a Truth Social meltdown—

"The alleged Statement put out by CNN World News is a FRAUD, as CNN well knows," he wrote. "The false Statement was linked to a Fake News site (from Nigeria) and, of course, immediately picked up by CNN, and blared out as a 'legitimate' headline. The Official Statement by Iran was just released, and posted on TRUTH, below."

"Authorities are looking to determine whether or not a crime was committed on the issuance of the Fake CNN World Statement, or was it a sick rogue player?" he continued. "CNN is being ordered to immediately withdraw this Statement with full apologies for their, as usual, terrible 'reporting.' Results of the investigation will be announced in the near future."

"No one can believe that Fake News CNN put out a knowingly false and dangerous statement pretending it came from the upper levels of the Iranian Government. It didn’t!" he wrote in a followup post. "It was totally made up and posted, as a headline, for purpose of, perhaps, inflaming a very delicate situation. It was a new, trouble making site from Nigeria, and CNN just got caught cheating - A very dangerous thing to do!"

Unlike Trump, CNN is actually interested in the truth. They don't run reports on random, half-researched Nigerian clickbait articles. They have a robust verification process and network of sources that they use to assure their reporting is accurate.

The likeliest explanation here is that CNN struck a nerve while Trump was still trying to paint his ceasefire as some kind of win, when all he actually accomplished was opening a strait that was already open before he launched his war. It's also entirely possible that he's so lazy, so checked out of the negotiations, and so gripped by dementia that he didn't even realize what he'd agreed to.

In any case, we commend CNN for standing strong. Never cave to the fascist bully!

BREAKING: AI juggernaut Anthropic hits Trump with a MASSIVE lawsuit after his corrupt Pentagon labeled them a "supply chain risk" because they refused to support mass surveillance and autonomous AI weapons.

They're trying to prevent a Terminator-esque future and Trump is furious...

“The Constitution does not allow the government to wield its enormous power to punish a company for its protected speech. No federal statue authorizes the actions taken here," the lawsuit, filed in federal court in California, reads.

The legal assault comes after Trump ordered all federal agencies to stop using Anthropic's products. The company alleges that the order is "unprecedented and unlawful" and is demanding that it be reversed because the “consequences of this case are enormous.”

Traditionally, the "supply chain risk" designation is reserved for foreign adversaries. Trump is abusing his powers to punish the company for refusing to bend to his will. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei previously stated that the company could not “in good conscience” agree to his demands.

Every American should be siding with Anthropic on this case, regardless of what one thinks of the company more broadly. There is absolutely no benign reason for the Defense Department to give AI independent authority to kill people and mass AI surveillance is an unthinkable violation of our Constitutional rights.

Anthropic described their lawsuit as a "last resort" but stated that they had to take action after the Trump administration "retaliated" against them for “adhering to its protected viewpoint on a subject of great public significance — AI safety and the limitations of its own AI models.”

BREAKING: Legendary superstar Ariana Grande ignites a war with Donald Trump by blasting MAGA world and asking them if their lives have "gotten better" as grocery prices skyrocket and "widespread suffering" unfolds.

She was just getting warmed up — and the White House quickly hit back...

“I want to check in with trump voters. I have one very genuine question: it’s been 250 days. now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all — has your life gotten better?” read the message reshared to the singer's 373 million followers on Instagram. The message was originally written by podcaster Matt Bernstein.

“Have your groceries gotten cheaper?" the post continued. "Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?”

The answer to the question, of course, is a resounding "no." Trump voters were gullible enough to believe that they were voting for a new "Golden Age." Instead, they've been dragged into a MAGA Dark Age as Trump's tariffs destroy the global economy and skyrocket inflation while his "big, beautiful bill" slashes $1 trillion from Medicaid and funnels even more wealth to the super-rich.

Grande has criticized Trump in the past. In June, she shared a photo of a sign that read: “Could someone explain which crimes get you deported and which ones get you elected President? It’s so confusing.”

This time, the celebrity-obsessed Trump administration decided to hit back with a message that made reference to some of Grande's biggest hits.

“Save your tears, Ariana. Because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investment,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans. Get well soon, Ariana!”

Notably, Desai didn't address the meat of Grande's post for the simple reason that she can't. Grocery prices are skyrocketing, health insurance is out of control, and people are struggling to survive more than ever. A few tweaks to Ticketmaster won't change that.
