From 2nd grade through high school all my teachers had a fairly large assortment of different map projections. I recall distinctly part of a chapter in 5th grade that dealt expressly with the different projections and why the compromises built into them were used for different reasons.

Additionally, every classroom in the building I attended grade school through middle school had one or more globes.

I believe that only the most impoverished school districts in my day might have had fewer geographical study resources than this.

So I call bonkers on these posts and their ridiculous claims.

It was over when they chose a bench trial. Would have been less of a stretch convincing a jury there is room for doubt about her mental state and intent, at least to get charge dropped to manslaughter, of which she is unarguably guilty.

Lawyer is either negligent or complicit in her outcome.

@JimsTweets Education is not required, only attendance. This is true in every state. It was true before "No child left behind". It was true before "Why Johnny can't read". It is true now. The standard is "compulsory attendance". Academic performance or quantified education is not mandated.
