Ashley Bastock of https://t.co/l9BDcTsJ2M wrote that Browns fans have quickly embraced Todd Monken, citing his no-nonsense coaching style, emphasis on accountability, and proven offensive track record as key reasons for the growing optimism.
"While Todd Monken may have started as a dark-horse coaching candidate in a lot of fans’ eyes, I had my sneaking suspicions he would grow on fans quickly, largely because of his no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is, old-school demeanor. So far, that’s been accurate. Fans seemed to especially love his longer practices, focus on accountability, and the fact that he doesn’t believe in veteran days off. Fans also like his offensive mind, coupled with what they know he achieved in Baltimore as OC over the last three years."

Dr. Kat Toups says she has tested vitamin D in every patient for 13 years. Almost none have levels above the sufficiency cutoff unless they take supplements.
A new study suggests why midlife levels may matter for the brain decades later.
Browns starting center Ethan Pocic, who tore his Achilles last December, recently was cleared by Dr. Norman Waldrop to participate in training camp. Pocic is a free agent, and is said by a source to be “full go.”
Josh Edwards of CBS Sports identified slot defender and defensive tackle as the Browns' biggest remaining offseason priorities, citing uncertainty at both positions.
"Instead, the attention is on the slot defender and defensive tackle. The slot position is minimized by the addition of safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren as the third safety. At defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. has yet to blossom and Maliek Collins is returning from injury. Mason Graham is the only known commodity."

Lance Reisland of https://t.co/l9BDcTtgSk believes Dylan Sampson could carve out a crucial offensive role, highlighting his ability to create plays in space and become a dangerous receiving threat out of the backfield.
"I'm super excited about Dylan Sampson. Sampson's gotta be a guy that creates space. You don't have to do much for him. Just give him the ball in space and let him make some yards for you. If you go back to the premise of allowing the stars to shine, the more that these second-tier guys can make the plays and star in their role. These guys are all about getting the ball in space and creating on their own without everybody having to be perfect. That's what these guys do best. sampson now becomes a problem, who do you cover Sampson with? Sampson's gotta be really good out of the backfield."

Shedeur Sanders got some extra insight from Jim Tressell ahead of Browns training camp later this month, according to @Hboog32.
"Legendary Coach Jim Tressel stopped earlier today during Shedeur’s first of four workouts today. Coach also gave some enlightenment about things he sees, and what to keep developing."
Never bad to get input from a coach with a career .742 wining percentage.
.@AdamSchein of New York Post Sports delivered a harsh outlook for the Browns, predicting a last-place finish in the AFC North while arguing the team should hand the starting quarterback job to Shedeur Sanders.
"And then you have the Browns. You poor, poor people of Cleveland. I just wish Shedeur Sanders would get the keys to the car. I actually thought Shedeur's rookie season was solid. The problem is you've got the Monk Man and Jimmy Haslam, they're still messing around with Deshaun Watson. Why is this even a thing? They don't have Myles Garrett. Whenever you trade the best defensive player in the NFL, you get worse. I think the Browns are going to be in dead last in the division. The Cleveland Browns remain the Cleveland Browns. They are a laughing stock. They are a joke."

“Their recruitment of LeBron is going to come with the things they can do before offering him that contract,” - @WindhorstESPN breaks down what it will take for a team to sign LeBron James.
"He needs time to develop...If you're just gonna throw him away for a 4th rounder, it makes no sense because we have no idea what he can be as our starting QB."
Joe Thomas spoke about the Shedeur Sanders trade speculation on 92.3 The Fan.
