@SherazMali23207 Thanks mate. I sold right at open๐๐ป. With flow trades, my whole trade thesis is based on an event happening. So once the event happens, no justification for me to hold it anymore.
@BCalusinski Even your calls where you lay out everything: "I see SPY going from 665 to 690, but move negated with confirmation below 650." An entire setup spoon-fed, what else could somebody ask for? Yet people completely freak out in your comments if we go to 657 first.
@HealthMorsels @BCalusinski@vladtenev HFT/PFOF/front-running has been going on for decades and unfortunately, is unavoidable. Buy and hold long term is the only way to minimize it
@jaredhstocks Also important to remember how the Tik Tok/Twitter posters make money off of all these posts that generate reactions. Bad advice/opinions always generate plenty of responses aka $$$
@BCalusinski@CheddarFlow I love the gold rush analogy though, and felt the same way when I discovered order flow platforms; wish I had thought of that idea for a business myself ๐
I still keep that business sense in mind; Find a way to make money that's selling shovels to miners, don't be a miner.
@BCalusinski I love @CheddarFlow. Honestly, the only bit of trading I do these days is watching for the obvious "insider prints" which are *extremely* rare.
Do I think it's possible to trade with some success from flow alone? Sure. Is it as simple or reliable as this person makes it? No
