Under President Trump’s leadership, common sense, scientific integrity, and accountability have been restored to federal food and health policy.
For decades, the Dietary Guidelines favored corporate interests over common-sense, science-driven advice to improve the health of Americans.
That ends today.
The new Dietary Guidelines call for prioritizing high-quality protein, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains—and avoiding highly processed foods and refined carbohydrates.

Very humbled by the trust placed in me by President Trump to lead the Domestic Policy Council, and thrilled to work with the all star Cabinet and White House team he is assembling. First post on X, but won’t be the last (thanks Elon!)
It’s been just a few hours since we left the convention center and it still seems like a dream. 300+ electoral votes. The “Blue Wall” kicked down from Eau Claire to Philadelphia. A decisive national popular vote majority. Extraordinary movement to the right across nearly the whole spectrum of American life. Black, white, Hispanic, young, old, men women: Americans from absolutely every demographic cohort have made the choice for Trump.
It seems like a dream, but it is no dream. This is victory. And this is just the beginning.
Well, given that our last events of this campaign cycle were tonight, we said goodbye to our Democrat tracker. Wyatt, if that’s his real name, was always polite and good natured.
America is great because you can be goldplated elite (Groton, Yale, Yale Law, then Deep State, married to the national security advisor) and you have to debate an insane libertarian Chinese immigrant mum who will insult you in broken English and she may beat you at the election.
@yuanyi_z I want to see witnesses at congressional hearings get the Chinese Mom treatment. Admiral so and so with all your medals, please explain why you can’t build ships under budget? Is it because you are bad at math?
Republicans can go head-to-head with Democrats on health care -- and win. They just need to explain to voters how policies like the IRA are actually driving inflation, and how GOP proposals can bring down costs and improve the quality of care.

A striking 75% of voters support the DETERRENT Act, a law that would require more transparency for foreign gifts to U.S. universities.

This Fox poll, which is otherwise strong for the GOP, shows Democrats trusted on transgender issues by +24 (58-34) - a higher margin than on abortion or climate change. https://t.co/cBTGa4xkMv
Repeated polling shows that as a matter of policy, Americans are much closer to the GOP on transgender issues. So what accounts for the difference? Are voters confused about where the parties stand? Or is it general tone? This requires further study and understanding.
New @AmerNewMajProj poll results. To be released in next few days. Preview: 55% oppose Senate eliminating dress code. 58% agree casting votes wearing shorts & hoodie a sign of disrespect. Plurality agree its a sign of the collapse of American civilization. cc: @esaagar
There has been an increase in support for labor unions, but there also hasn't been national pain inflicted by a union strike in a long time. With more strikes coming we could see that trend reverse. #unions#polls#UAWSolidarity#WritersStrike#nurses
