This person in the video has built a regression model on Lionel Messi’s (@TeamMessi) longevity and scoring ability and according to it Messi is about 8 standard deviations away from the curve (8 sigma). It is so rare in one tailed probability that the chance for someone like Messi to appear in this world is 1 in 1.61 quadrillion meaning Messi is virtually impossible and mathematically infinitesimally rare
To understand how small a 1 in 1.61 quadrillion chance is, compare it to this: Powerball Jackpot gives you a chance of winning the lottery with roughly 1 in 292 million chance. You are about 5.5 million times more likely to win the Powerball jackpot on a single ticket than to see an 8-sigma event
For comparison you can see image with @Cristiano Ronaldo in the next post, who is also an outlier, but the chance of seeing someone like him is way more likely
They are putting DATA CENTERS in the ocean now.
Panthalassa, a startup from Portland, just raised $140 MILLION.
what they do: build floating platforms that sit out at sea and run AI. no power grid needed. the ocean waves make all the electricity. the seawater keeps the chips cool.
How it works: big floating balls bob up and down with the waves. that motion makes power. the power runs the AI chips inside.
backed by PETER THIEL. company now worth almost $1 BILLION.
land is running out of room and power for AI. so the next move is simple. go to the sea.
Dear @WilliamsRuto, Europe sees Kenya as a leader in addressing global challenges.
And above all, as a reliable partner.
Two years ago, our 🇪🇺🇰🇪 Economic Partnership Agreement entered into force.
Our trade has already significantly increased.
Now we want to go further.
Boost investment with Global Gateway to create jobs and support Kenya’s rise up the value chain.
Support better connectivity and the clean and digital transition.
During a meeting with President of Kenya @WilliamsRuto, we discussed the development of high-tech cooperation across various sectors: investment attraction, agriculture, and education. We are ready to share our experience with Kenya and implement joint projects. We agreed that our teams will work out the details of possible cooperation.
I thank Kenya for supporting Ukraine’s resolutions in the United Nations General Assembly. We also paid special attention to cooperation within international organizations.
Glad to have met President William Ruto of Kenya.
India and Kenya share a longstanding partnership anchored in the aspirations of the Global South. We remain committed to working together for the well-being of our people.

🚨 LMFAO! President Trump is hilarious 🤣
UAE PRESIDENT: *Speaking very low*
TRUMP: "See, when you're that RICH, you can speak THAT LOW."
"I was wondering, can anybody hear that? But when you're so rich, you have such confidence, you don't have to do any strain to the voice!" 😂
Fox paid $485 million for the rights to broadcast this World Cup. The New York Times put the fair market value at $1 to $1.5 billion. The hydration break is how Fox gets its money's worth.
FIFA announced mandatory 3-minute pauses midway through each half of all 104 World Cup 2026 matches, not just hot ones. That includes games inside climate-controlled domed stadiums with roofs. The announcement came at a World Broadcaster Meeting in Washington DC. FIFA said the decision was made after consultation with coaches and broadcasters.
A few months later, FIFA gave broadcasters the green light to sell ads during the pauses. Fox gets 2 minutes and 10 seconds per break, starting 20 seconds after the whistle and ending 30 seconds before play resumes. Across all 104 games, that's 832 potential ad slots that didn't exist in soccer before this tournament. Fox and Telemundo project a combined $850 million in ad revenue from the 2026 World Cup.
The player welfare argument is also real. Argentina's Enzo Fernandez said he felt "dizzy" in "very dangerous" temperatures during last summer's Club World Cup in the US, where some games approached 100 degrees Fahrenheit. FIFA had reason to act. But it applied those breaks to every match regardless of conditions, and opened a commercial window that makes this World Cup more ad-friendly than any before it.
Fox proved the point on day one. In the opener between Mexico and South Africa, Fox missed the 30-second return window FIFA mandated. The ball was already in play when the network came back from commercials.
Coca-Cola, a top-tier global FIFA partner for decades, runs the hydration stations on the field. That same 3-minute pause serves three commercial interests at once: the field sponsor, Fox's ad revenue, and Fox's streaming subscribers.
The 2030 World Cup goes to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. The 2034 tournament lands in Saudi Arabia. Both regions see extreme summer heat. FIFA has not confirmed whether the pauses will outlast this summer's tournament. But $850 million in new advertising inventory tends to answer that question on its own.
