Claude Code Desktop is now so much aware of its own capabilities and how it can work with you, like spinning off subsessions.
I think of this almost like a v2, so many small details went into make it great.
Design directly with your agents. ⚡️💻
With the Stitch CLI, you can bring Stitch into your local development workflow. Watch it in action:
1️⃣ Connect your local coding agent via CLI
2️⃣ Generate UI screens directly from your codebase
3️⃣ Iterate on the visual design inside Stitch
4️⃣ Sync the changes straight back into your code

I am surprised that people are surprised this is how I prompt Claude.
Talk to Claude the way you would a coworker. There's no secret to prompting. There's no need to be overly scaffolded or prescriptive for most tasks -- give Claude a goal, and it will figure it out.
Back in the Sonnet 3.5 days, your prompt mattered a lot. Nowadays, it's much more important to communicate to the model:
1. What you want it to do
2. How much effort you want it to spend
3. How it should verify that it did the right thing
this is a new type of post we're trying where we share in-depth about how we do work using specific prompts and techniques you should be able to replicate
let us know if it's useful or if you have any feedback!
Today, we are merging Claude Cowork and chat to simplify how you use Claude!
We are also integrating Claude Design so that you can ask Claude to make a Slide, Design, or Doc without needing to switch tabs or apps.
Many of you shared that you didn't want to choose which Claude product to use for any task. As Claude models have become more capable, we've found that Claude can handle the routing for you. Based on your prompt, Claude will decide whether to give a quick answer or do deeper agentic work, and what kind of output best fits the task.
You're in control the whole time: you can still stop, redirect, or exert finer control over Claude's effort or approach.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. We're rolling this out slowly over the next few weeks to get it right.
Claude Code can design now. The new /design skill (research preview) brings Claude Design's artboard workflow into the CLI and Desktop, built on artifacts.
Run /design to get editable artboards for your UI — pick one, tweak it, then have Claude implement it.
Voice mode now runs on Claude's more capable models and reaches the tools you've connected mid-conversation.
Talk through the hard problems out loud, in many more languages.
