@TexansJacob Maybe just my mind saying there’s a difference but almost seems like he’s torquing he’s full body together rather than his upper half lagging behind slightly. Felt like he was sailing a lot of balls outside the numbers which could contribute to the upper half trying to catch up.
I’d be thrilled if we can finish Day 2 with 3 of the following guys:
• Kayden McDonald DT
• Christen Miller DT
• Emmanuel Pregnon OG
• Gennings Dunker OT
• Logan Jones C
• Jacob Rodriguez LB
• CJ Allen LB
• Harold Perkins LB
• Mike Washington RB
Wishful for tomorrow.
We’ve all collectively complained about the O-Line room since Stroud stepped in the building. We finally are addressing the situation and filling out the group with experienced vets and some TOUGH younger guys. Let’s enjoy the “depth” we have if Rutledge doesn’t slide to center.
The only people around the NFL that don’t like the pick are these Houston “fans”. Rutledge had a phenomenal RAS score and a 2x All ACC and All American in 2025. Dude looks like a monster on tape who can also slide to Center if needed. Filling out the o-line and yet yall still cry
@6H05T_Macadelic@Still_Tippin442 100%, obviously all speculation seeing as not a lot of tape at center. On the other hand, we’ve all complained about this o-line room for years, and now I’m seeing people complain that we don’t have room for him? Enjoy the depth of a room full of young maulers and amazing vets!
@Still_Tippin442@6H05T_Macadelic Ingram was the only bright spot on our line all season. Why would we let a 27 year old who had a great year walk to then turn around and have a brand new group again? Do we not wanna build upon last year? Rutledge has said multiple times he’s comfortable playing center.
