@AnimarchyYT Nihilism, to me, is understanding & facing my utter insignificance not just on a cosmic scale but on even a human scale. I am nothing, I will never be a great man, I will be forgotten shortly after I pass.
With this in mind, it would be a shame to fail to enjoy this brief life.
@Halfway_Hikes @HistoricalWaifu @MorganBRoss @BriannaWu @lindayacc So if one encounters nazis, block them so one can pretend they don’t exist anymore simply because you can’t see what they’re saying (at least until you inevitably encounter more). At that point,
those nazis are fine and you’re just ignoring them.
How hard is this to understand?
The biggest challenge up to this point has been the lack of an authoritarian dictatorship to force us all to use it - because why ELSE would we?
We wouldn’t. So either https://t.co/eTKGdz3Na2 is doomed…
Or…Well, at least now Saudi investment in the purchase makes more sense.
Ever since Musk’s takeover, I’ve said that eventually I’d become an ex-user.
Either he didn’t think this through enough to consider what users would be called, or he thinks the inevitable term “x-user” is somehow cool, so obviously it’s a great idea.
What a doofus. #RIPTwitter
Extrapolating forward based on these trends & outcomes while accounting for public statements from those involved about future directions indicates that this will all get worse.
Elon & co. always wanted a global version of China’s siloed ecosystem to enable tech-driven dystopia.
@oneunderscore__ Literally the only reason I use this platform anymore is to watch it go down in flames & laugh as the Right Wing Thought Leaders™️ spiral the drain with it.
@EladNehorai@BankofAmerica IIRC I was able to get my money because I still had access to my online account & it was connected to like, PayPal or something - but this was years ago, my memory isn’t great & I’m sure at least the larger banks have “patched” this.
But there needs to be news coverage of this.
@EladNehorai@BankofAmerica This happened to me as well a few years ago. I walked in to make a withdrawal to pay my rent, they told me they couldn’t help me, my account was closed, there was no further explanation & I needed to leave now that I wasn’t a customer. Utterly weird situation, it bothered me.
If this is the last tweet I make before this platform fully catches fire & becomes dust in the wind, so be it. Y’all need to hear this & you’d better pay attention before it’s too late.
We must reclaim & defend our neighbors’ liberty to salvage our own. Solidarity now & forever.
@LeviTD@MattBinder Kinda feels misleading to take one’s interpretation of what another said or wrote & then pretend that it was something they literally said by putting quotation marks around it and attributing it to them.
Though your interpretation may be truly correct, it seems dishonest. Right?
@LeviTD@MattBinder “That’s incorrect! Orwell actually MEANT to say that. If you disagree with that quote, you missed the point of Orwell’s book, in which he wrote the aforementioned quote, although not explicitly, so it was not actually something he said.”
- Levi Tillemann
Am I doing this right?
@RockCity333@ask_aubry If you don’t think that posting about how “someone” should (insert violent act) to someone else could EVER lead to anyone following through on that incitement & do some IRL violence, you are a very sheltered boy & honestly it’s adorable but please: Stop. You’re doing a bad thing.
@RockCity333@ask_aubry These statutes obviously vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but in my readings (IANAL) it seems that all that’s necessary to fulfill them is that a threat of injury be made & that a reasonable person would believe that it is possible that it could be followed through on.
@ashley3one3@iAmTheWarax While you’re correct, the fact that the first 100 pages of each of these is NOT just the words “TAX THE FUCKING RICH YOU MONUMENTAL DUNCES” over & over kind of makes me question the validity.
Because if *this* is considered a more viable means of reducing the deficit, well, lol.
