“Call of Duty public multiplayer needs to feel casual again.”

More than 9,000 Call of Duty players have signed a petition calling on Activision and the game’s development teams to remove skill-based matchmaking from standard, unranked public playlists.
Skill-based matchmaking groups players with others of similar ability.

Petition starter Tyler Smith, a gamer known online as @tdawgsmitty, argues that the system can make matches feel overly competitive, even when players just want to try a new weapon, unwind after work or play with friends at different skill levels.

The petition asks Call of Duty to prioritize connection quality in public matches, keep skill-based competition in Ranked Play and provide more transparency about how its matchmaking works.

Should skill-based matchmaking stay in Ranked Play only?

@tdawgsmitty @NEVERBOW 🤣🤣🤣

[TDAWG @tdawgsmitty]

@NEVERBOW you've tagged me about 15 times in the 24 hours about how I cant stop complaining about the mw4 matchmaking. well unfortunately for me, it ruins my experience and I think it's bad for the game. the reason you dont understand my frustration is because you are being protected in lobbies.

watching your twitch for 30 seconds gave me all the info I needed.

Like I said, it's time...

I genuinely think it’s time to sunset Warzone… put all your resources into DMZ and MW4. Let @RavenSoftware run DMZ and finally adapt to this new era of gaming. I can’t go through another year of waiting for the mode to get good after 6 months.

The #MW4 resurgence #beta is quite possibly the worst integration of warzone to date

I cant see and I cant hear

Needs LOTS of work

[Lock @Locksteel_]

can confidently say this beta is the worst state of wz i’ve ever played in the last 6 years, 20 steps backwards 👍🏼

CALL OF DUTY: REDSEC

[AG Knight @GorgoKnight]

Game has lost its identity, speed of the game was too fast before now it’s way too slow there’s no middle ground. Tac sprint being a perk only is 🤢 imo but that’s whatever. I don’t know what game i just played
