@Xtopher_Uzo No Trent refers to the Liturgy and liturgies that were 0ver 200 years old. It doesnt make a provision for any future papal approved liturgies which the NO is. The NO doesnt even keep in line with what Sacrosanctum concillium called for.
@Xtopher_Uzo Well not necessarily...the code of Canon Law allows for the faithful to receive their sacraments from schismatics under canon 844. If they feel their faith is under duress at a NO parish they can legally attend an sspx chapel.
@VaticanNews This judgement has no influence among the faithful as it should because the Vatican has been placating schismatics, heretics and apostates for decades under the guise of dialogue without ever defining the stark realities of their error and separation.
@EricRSammons They have thousands of people coming to the consecration. The sspx has asked for an audience with the Pope for months and have been denied. This is theater. How about asking the CCCP to not consecrate bishops without the Popes prior approval.
@briankeepsworth Maybe the fact that it is tomorrow with thousands of people coming and they have been asking for an audience with the Holy Father for months and being ignored by Fernandez. I think that might be it.
@LayDominicana Sorry to tell you this, but they are catholic. And they believe everything the Church has taught on faith and morals to a higher percentage by far than what most Catholics beleive as evidensed by numerous surveys among practicing catholics.
@RichRaho Can we just speak clearly? Evangelize, baptize all nations, participate fully in the sacraments, do the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. Pretty simple.
@jj_shabadoo@SecretFire79 No no yes. He is experiencing confusion. And if he has doubts about his vocation it is better he step away than continue in ministry. He is still a priest he just loses his jurisdiction to adminster the sacraments that are unique to an ordained preist under a Bishop.
@Xtopher_Uzo I guess the fact that the "reforms" just perfectly emulated Cramners intentions have no reason to give pause. Reduce sacrifice in the mass, pray in the vernavular, face the people, emphasize the homily over the Eucharist, remove kneeling at the altar rail.
