It’s true we need more research on toxicity of fluoride at higher concentrations. The relative uselessness of the NTP study only makes that clearer. Meantime, we have plenty research on risks and benefits to make our own public health decisions.

I’ll add—recent research indicates there *may* be risks at levels more than double the CDC-recommended 0.7 mg/L. And even then, the research is shaky.
