@WannabeAnglican I don’t get it. An occasional contributor to the FT blog links an podcast interview that includes Martin, and your response is “cancel my subscription!”
Rather than embrace financial and emotional protectionism, our culture and laws should make it safer for men and women to fall in love with abandon again. https://t.co/otDC4YkM5Y
@GaryWinslett@NRO This was a great article - and is a warning to cities like mine (COS) that are on the edge of allowing the vagrancy population to create similarly scaled problems.
I'm not a racist. I'm a culturalist
I believe some cultures are superior to others
For example, I prefer cultures that do not encourage wife beating, paedophilia, clitorectomies, stoning and constant inflation of the male ego
I am also aware of the difference between Islamoscepticism and Islamophobia
Notice that hate does not come into this
Only moral preferences
When I was Muslim, I never noticed what the Quran doesn’t have.
Dates. Places. Names you can check.
Read the Quran’s stories: no chronology, almost no geography, kings called only “Pharaoh,” events floating in no particular year.
Where did the story happen? When? Under whom? The text doesn’t say. You can’t check it… which conveniently means you can’t crosscheck it.
Now read the opening of Luke 3:
“In the FIFTEENTH YEAR of the reign of TIBERIUS CAESAR — PONTIUS PILATE being governor of JUDEA, HEROD being tetrarch of GALILEE, his brother PHILIP tetrarch of ITUREA and TRACHONITIS, and LYSANIAS tetrarch of ABILENE, during the high priesthood of ANNAS and CAIAPHAS…”
SEVEN historical anchors in one sentence.
An emperor, a governor, three rulers with their exact territories, two high priests.
And people HAVE checked — for centuries, often trying to break it. Skeptics mocked Luke’s “Lysanias of Abilene” as an error…
UNTIL an inscription naming Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene turned up.
Pilate was called legend by some… until the Pilate Stone was dug up at Caesarea in 1961 with his name and title carved in it.
Luke 1:3-4 tells you why: “Having followed all things closely… that you may have CERTAINTY.”
Certainty. That’s the offer.
One book floats above history where nothing can touch it.
The other planted its flag in checkable ground and said: dig.
They dug. It’s still standing.
Praise the Lord and His mighty God-Breathed scripture.
(1)🚨BREAKING: After a seven-year, high-profile legal battle on multiple fronts, Rev. Dr Bernard Randall, supported by the Christian Legal Centre, has secured a legal settlement with Trent College and succeeded in overturning the Church of England’s (CofE) safeguarding blacklisting of him for preaching a sermon on freedom of belief and gender identity.
Dr Randall, a former Cambridge University college chaplain, is now free to preach in church again and work in an education setting for the first time in seven years after he and his legal team successfully challenged the ban imposed on him.
Had he preached in a CofE place of worship during the past seven years, he could have faced disciplinary action.
The sanction followed a sermon he delivered as chaplain of the Derbyshire college in July 2019 in a CofE school, in a CofE chapel, precisely the kind of setting where pupils might reasonably expect to hear orthodox Christian teaching.
The sermon encouraged debate and was pastoral and rooted in Anglican belief. It came after the school had invited in the external campaign group Educate and Celebrate, which openly stated its aim to “smash heteronormativity” and to embed Queer Theory throughout the culture of the school.
Yet for delivering that sermon, Dr Randall, was treated like a criminal: forced out of the college, reported to Prevent without his knowledge, and blacklisted by the Diocese of Derby as a safeguarding risk.
Meanwhile, in the years since, Educate and Celebrate has been quietly closed down by the Charity Commission following a series of scandals, including one of its patrons committing multiple sex offences against children.

To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson
🚨#BREAKING: A German soccer fan who flew to the USA but was fearful about coming because of news about criminals and people being mean...
...breaks down into TEARS, live on air saying he has FALLEN IN LOVE with America after a random man named "Bob" in Boston gave him a ride home after he was stuck at a game with no way back to his hotel
The German soccer fan's name is Sebastian, he said after meeting Bob, he extended his entire trip.
He said leaving America will hurt worse than watching Germany get knocked out of the World Cup.
"I fall in love with America. I'm sorry, it's just so emotional. Americans are not rude... if we are together, we can achieve great things."
THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
SOCIALISM AIN’T DEMOCRATIC
Juliet laments that Romeo’s last name is what makes their love forbidden: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose/By any other name would smell as sweet."
But calling Socialism democratic does not make it smell any sweeter; it still stinks.
Socialism consolidates governmental control of the production and distribution of goods. Its entwining of politics and economic drivers also consolidates power and wealth in the government, making it—and select, elitist politicians—obscenely wealthy and abusively powerful.
But free-market Capitalism, with its private ownership and control of the production and distribution of goods, stands in stark contrast to Socialism. It democratically diversifies power and wealth across an ever-expanding private sector. It fosters inspiration as it builds a broader, deeper, wider path to success by incentivizing life changing innovation. It creates an environment where dreams can and really do come true.
In the mid-70s a college drop-out named Bill Gates started Microsoft in his garage. Apple’s first computer was built in the garage of Steve Jobs’ parents. And Amazon was born in Jeff Bezos’ garage in Bellevue, Washington. Founded by three men with a shortage of money but no shortage of dreams and drive, today these three companies combine for a market value of over $9 trillion dollars—that’s a 9 followed by 12 zeroes. That’s very nearly equal to the combined value of the entire stock markets of the UK, France, Germany, and Switzerland, which total about $9.3 trillion in market value.
Collectively these 3 companies directly employ approximately 1.3 million people in the U.S. alone. Combining the directly-employed with the indirectly-employed (suppliers, construction workers, broader economic ripple effects, etc.), the number of U.S. jobs generated and supported by these three companies is estimated to be between 4 and 5 million.
Only under America’s Free Market Capitalist System could 3 companies, all started in garages by individuals with no money, rise to such heights.
While promising the impossibility of freedom from responsibility, Socialism has historically delivered naught but poverty; the end-reality for socialism is misery for the many, privilege for the few.
In contrast with Socialism, Capitalism provides opportunity for the many, not just the few.
These are the choices on November’s ballot.
From Paul Gigot in his Wall Street Journal’s June 25, 2026, editorial:
“It’s hard to overstate how far to the left the Mamdani slate is. Aber Kawas, who won the primary for a state Senate seat, has said she found it ‘reprehensible' to apologize for 9/11 when America hasn’t apologized for its ‘system of capitalism, and racism and white supremacy.’ We guess she won’t be going to the 25th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero.
“Darializa Avila Chevalier, who ousted Rep. Adriano Espaillat, was a leader of the anti-Israel protests at Columbia University after the 2023 Hamas massacre. She was for Hamas. She has called for abolishing police, prisons and borders. She called Joe Biden a ‘rapist’ and ‘war criminal’ and says the U.S. is ‘occupied’ Native American land and called the country a ‘f— disgrace.’ She favors seizing private property.’”
Chevalier may not be very bright, but at least she is crude and foul-mouthed. What’s not to love?
Ultimately, the shared shortcoming of all economic systems, including Capitalism, Socialism, and any combination thereof, is that they are but economic systems—merely mechanisms. Socio-politico-economic systems are nothing more than tools. Like hammers, they can be used to build hospitals and schools, or to nail a man to the cross.
While it can be argued that Socialism is an appealing humanitarian hypothetical/theoretical, the real-world failures of Socialism spanning the last 200 plus years are a real-world horror. And despite the obvious and measurable wealth of opportunity and outcome spurred by Free Market Capitalism, the abusive short-falls of unfettered Capitalism that prioritizes profits to the detriment of people gave rise to the need for unions in America. That’s another historical fact that cannot be ignored.
The failures of both are found in their common denominator—humanity’s brokenness.
From Reverend Joseph Odell in his sermon on June 21, 2026, at Saint George’s Anglican Church in Colorado Springs: “We are the Church Militant, the people of God, saved by the grace of God, remaining in this world to do battle against the enemies of God, the powers and principalities that resist his rule and seek to corrupt creation and humanity.”
It does not take a biblical scholar to recognize the world to which Father Odell refers, the world in which we live, is broken. Nor does it take a Rhodes Scholar to realize that Socialist Democrats’ promises of milk, honey, and golden eggs from poison ivy and cactus plants is akin to a tragic one act play in the Theater of the Absurd.
Those who attack Free Market Capitalism would devour the golden egg laying goose. Be warned—not only will there be no more gold, there will be no more eggs—not for anyone but the ruling class elites.
And despite what they claim, if we don’t stop those who would take God out of America, we will end up with a God-Forsaken America.
On the eve of our 250th anniversary, the time to choose is upon us. It is up to you, me, and us. Will it be Mamdani Islamo-Socialist Madness or the Church Militant?
Stand. Choose. And pray.
🏴 En Inglaterra, una periodista fue a un barrio de musulmanes a decir que ellos son PACIFICOS

País destruido por la agenda 2030.
Discussing why young white men are suddenly much more attracted to wicked ideologies of Nazism and white supremacy no more "legitimizes" or excuses their sins than discussing how the break down of the black family has led to higher rates of black youth crime legitimizes those sins.
Why is it suddenly not allowed to talk about how we got here?
