The biased theory of politics in #Ghana
The day #NPP & #NDC pragmatically, wholeheartedly, honestly, cast in stone a decision to execute the manifesto of #Ghana not their parochial party manifesto, #Ghana will change forever.
Till then it'll be the 2yrs fwd 8yrs bwd
Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug.
You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form.
You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages.
You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution.
You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis.
You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from.
Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.

He was specific by mentioning Claude AI. He's trying to make you aware how powerful Claude AI is over ChatGPT.
Ofcourse most people in Ghana are used to ChatGPT. It's like people not realizing how powerful Telegram is over WhatsApp because of the first to market and trend.
At 96th place, this is what Ghanaians 🇬🇭 are using Anthropic’s Claude AI for.
Clearly we are underutilizing it. Nigeria 🇳🇬 at 108th place is using it in all the ways I imagined
Every African should see this video of a bilateral discussion between President Emmanuel Macron of France and representatives from Burkina Faso.
No one has made me happier for and prouder of Africa than the ladies in the video. Ibrahim Traoré has the best brains around him.✍️
Eswatini 🇸🇿 has confirmed the arrival of 11 more deportees from the United States, marking the fourth group transferred under a bilateral agreement between the two countries.
The agreement, reportedly worth about $6.1 million ( E/R100 million ), allows up to 160 third country nationals to be relocated to Eswatini.
A total of 29 people have arrived so far and are being held at a correctional facility
What exactly is wrong with China? Why do they keep executing corrupt politicians, building public infrastructure, advancing technology, and implementing far superior educational systems and programs that push their young ones to the top of society?
Why do they not want freedom of speech and democracy and social justice and everything else that makes Western civilization great?
Why is China so backwards that their citizens don’t even know how to come out and complain about the nonexistent poor quality of life and expensive housing, the lack of bad roads and public healthcare services?
China needs to get its act together so it can start exporting its style of government to 3rd world countries, because other superpowers are leaving them behind.
@cchukudebelu You wrote this but can't think beyond the fact that everything done by those who wish to do so always find a "pretext"
You know if you know
@garyalsmith Just when I thought you knew better I'm left in awe of this statement.
Interpretation: blame yourselves for being cheated because the cheater was right to do so.
This is your narration and it's really sad, kai!
Dude eliminate the word "Sub" and "Saharan" because the forest cover in West Africa is more than 70💯 of the Saharan desert the West trumpets.
Those words in quotes are derogatory and racist plain and simple!
And Ghana is not in central Africa.
Is it so hard to see?
🌧️ See flooding? Don't just post it. Map it.
We've partnered with #FixitNow to build a citizen-powered flood map of #Ghana. If you spot #flooding, snap it, pin it, and report it through the app (download via our Linktree).
It starts with all of us.

@maintishe@badgallsadie If you haven't experienced it, trust me, you can't relate. As Black Africans, we must stop conflating issues that are completely unrelated.
Respect and love the BAs and they'll reciprocate if you can't the highway is your way.
Sub-Saharan Africa is the most aid-dependent region globally. On average, aid accounted for about 3% of GDP in 2024—well above other regions, making the current drop in aid especially consequential. https://t.co/8WUovVFE38
