Good they are thinking of rider's safety. This 8km gravel climb is pretty crazy

@mwkeenan @SBSSportau Oh and forgot to say it was changed back to red in 2010 but then changed back again to the ciclamino in 2017

Apparently both men's and women's sprinters jerseys were orginally red and is the standard international colour issued by the UCI. The men's jersey was changed sometime in the 70's to honor a traditional alpine flower.

Strong sprint at the end there but not sure at what cost as it was a tough stage but there are tougher stages to come
