My Lord, Osusu is not forced savings, it is a system of creating a common pot to help each other per time. One advantage over a bank is that, if we all go to the bank, at the end of the 1st round, we all have what we have, but in Osusu, one person now has a bulk sum.

I know this is an hypothetical analogy but it drives home the point that Osusu helps lighten the financial burden in ways banks cannot.
