Today #1 reason the internet is awesome, a 5,549 miles apart 💻get together, my daughter & I made zentangles, with our friend in Trinidad 🌍

@Edwina_Currie I'm still trying to get my head around food banks being a necessity in my lifetime, in the UK. I can't begin to imagine "heat banks" will now be the norm too 😭 Cost of living crisis, and you say it's not the government's job to tackle it 🤔🫣🤯
@Lechaletdoucy This interior designer has issues. I hope their secret Santa this year, gives them pocket tissues :) so their fears of running out, can be eased.
It's nice being around developers interested in diff things Angular, React, Java, JavaScript, C#, Unity, Android, etc. Communities are all 🤘🏼. One difference though I do giggle at, is just the use of the words "syntactic sugar" amongst the React community, I am hearing it a lot.
Made many Russian friends during the World Cup there. So many lovely people. This is a message received from one such friend today:
“Please say to everyone that Russian people want to stop the war 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
But our government doesn’t want to hear us.”
@metoffice@DirectLine@DirectLine#directline#StormEunice Direct line now claims that this is was not part of the structure of an end terraced house leaving us without a penny after the storm blown it over. Disgraceful behaviour. What is the point of insurance if not for days like this??
@DirectLine@peter39133424 In reading their policy, MOST customers would feel reassured reading their policy covers WALLS. That brick walls would be included on ALL claims. By your own standards, it's confusing - as you need to refer to a policy to be able to say 🧱whether a wall is a wall 🧱or not🤔🤯
