When I was 12 years old I’d wake up on a Saturday morning, watch some cartoons and pro wrestling, go outside and throw a rubber ball off the side of the house, get the guys in the neighborhood together for Wiffle Ball, go inside for Atari and snacks, ride my bike to Dairy Queen for a Mr. Misty, listen to Casey Kasem, flip on ESPN and watch sports with no social commentary, flip it over to MTV, which showed actual music videos, go back outside for more Wiffle Ball, and then think “Hey, it’s almost 3 pm.” Living my best life and had no fucking idea how good I had it.
It’s amazing how quickly the gatekeepers of culture decide what’s acceptable.
In June, every logo becomes a rainbow. Every stadium, every jersey, every broadcast gets a political message.
But put a Bible verse on your cap? Suddenly that’s “controversial.”
Put an American slogan front and center? Suddenly that’s “divisive.”
The NFL had no problem painting political movements in the end zone. Major League Baseball has no problem turning every June into a month-long corporate activism campaign.
Yet the moment someone wants to celebrate faith, patriotism, or traditional values, we’re told those things don’t belong in sports.
Funny how the people preaching inclusion always seem to have a very specific list of viewpoints they’re willing to include.
If rainbow logos belong in sports, then so do Bible verses.
If political messages belong in sports, then so do messages celebrating faith, family, and country.
The double standard isn’t subtle anymore. EVERYONE sees it.
When J.R. Ewing got shot it was pretty much the only thing anyone in America cared about that entire summer. Everyone who was there will confirm this statement to be accurate.
Happy Birthday, Bryan! 🎉
Thank you for everything you gave to our sport and the world as a whole — your talent, passion, and big heart continue to inspire us all. Forever missed, forever celebrated. ❤️
Went for a quick bite to eat today, and while standing in line, I was asked by a large group of bikers to cut in front of them. I declined, but they insisted. As I made my way past them they all thanked me and shook my hand, each one introducing themselves. When I got to the front, they asked if they could pray for me. Said a quick prayer for me and I for them. They then tried to buy my lunch which I politely refused. Get to the counter to pay and the owner told me it was on the house. So I dumped all the cash I had in the tip jar. Was a nice change of pace to feel appreciated and respected instead of feared or hated. Thanks for making my day!!!

June 14, 1777: The Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Act.
This made the Stars and Stripes the official flag of the United States!

Elon Musk didn't take anything from me because he started successful companies and became the richest man on the planet...
Somali fraudsters, on the other hand, have been stealing my tax dollars for DECADES!!
Maybe point your anger in the right direction for once!!
These two short sentences tell you a lot about our government and our culture!
1. We are advised to not judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, But we are encouraged to judge All Gun Owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Funny how that works….
And here is another one worth considering.
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of Money. How come we never hear about Welfare running out of money?
What's Interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
Profound isn't it... Think about it.....
The Stars and Stripes right in my living room.
An iconic and historic symbol of peace and strength—and a constant reminder of those who gave their all for our freedom.
Happy Flag Day, USA! 🇺🇸
