🚛Blackcurrant jam Jam is readyA strong tug on my son’s line, and he reels in, his arms burning, and soon a large pollock emerges, its body brown and speckled, and he cheers, holding it up, proud of his catch, even if it’s not bigger than the tuna.
🥗Room Cleaning The cleaning is overThe woodpecker stirs in its sleep, flicking its wings. It dreams of tapping trees and finding insects, and it smiles (as much as a woodpecker can smile) in its sleep.
💨Walk with daughter Sand, funMonths passed, and the sunflower grew taller and taller, its petals bright and vibrant, standing tall in the grass, a constant reminder of Clara and Elias’s love, of their perfect picnics, of their promise to each other.
Tribute to Baba #BabaWhileYouAreAway
Baba, while you were away, you went away.
Baba, when you went away, you stayed away.
Baba, while you are away, the Republic’s heart has lost its way.
Baba, while you are away, hope’s bright fire has turned to grey.
Baba, while you are away, the barricades fell and red carpets lay.
In life you liberated Kenya, in death you liberated your followers.
Baba, while you are away, history rises to sing your name.
Baba, while you are away, even jailers now praise your flame.
Baba, while you are away, the mighty you challenged now honour your aim.
For the Enigma you were, your shadow still shapes the nation’s frame.
In life you liberated Kenya, in death you liberated your followers.
Baba, while you are away, democracy stands tall and strong.
Baba, while you are away, the people find their voice in song.
Baba, while you are away, even rivals admit you led all along.
The Enigma endures, your struggle eternal, your vision lifelong.
In life you liberated Kenya, in death you liberated your followers.
Baba, while you are away, justice wears a fearless face.
Baba, while you are away, the youth now rise to take their place.
Baba, while you are away, Kenya still walks in your guiding trace.
The Enigma rests, but his spirit still runs this race.
In life you liberated Kenya, in death you liberated your followers.

Footnote:
He was more than a man, he was a movement.
To his supporters, he was Baba; to his opponents, a worthy adversary; to history, The Enigma whose footsteps shaped Kenya’s democratic journey.
This tribute is not just a farewell, but a recognition that even in absence, his spirit marches on, in every protest chant, in every ballot cast, and in every dream of a freer tomorrow.
@Osama_otero Mr. President, why are you insisting in keeping incompetent people in the name of secretary cabinets; secondly, why are you still campaigning for a financial bill that you rejected?
When doctors and other public servants handling critical services ask for salary adjustments, it becomes an issue. Here we go, those who have failed this country are defending their salary increments at the expense of struggling citizens.
@Osama_otero Those who have been in nyayo house can attest that at least 20 offices are empty every single day and citizens need to be served in those offices. Remember there are individuals assigned to those offices receiving monthly salary.
@AnneWaiguru Why sudden twist? Let every woman fight for her rightful position in this country.. let us not question your capacity as governor.. you won against men (hb, Nakuru, kirinyaga, meru, embu, kwale, and machakos)
@AnneWaiguru Gachagua has not served in that office as stipulated in the constitution. Why are you guys in rush to replace him? Let us talk about his replacement come 2027. It is absurd to make everything about women.. you are amongst those who voted and celebrated the winning of Ruto-Gachagu
