We wish all schools the best of luck with their Year 6 SATs this week. After a tumultuous few years, this group of children is truly remarkable and resilient. #GoodLuck
@JosephOak35 Behaviour Contingency Plan with a red and green path, visually supports making the right choice. A personalised behaviour plan that breaks the day into chunks so even a red in maths doesn’t mean the day is a write off! Also encourages taking responsibility when things go wrong.
We have had a great first session of our new cycle of coffee mornings today, offering an informal chance to share and learn together. We are starting another cycle next week, visit our website for details https://t.co/VxfqutBHmm

I pleaded with the Conservatives to find it in their heart to ensure children don't go hungry.
Tonight they voted against our proposals for Free School Meals this Christmas.
I have witnessed first hand how some children are forced to come to school hungry. Nothing for breakfast and virtually nothing in their lunch boxes. How can this still be a problem and how can we keep ignoring it!
"We try not to eat a lot in one day, even though most of us are really hungry."
Almost 1 in 3 children in the UK are now growing up poor, like Cameron and his two sisters whose family rely on a food bank to help fill the fridge.
These are not normal times, we have to find ways to ensure we are not asking educators & students to do normal things in unnormal circumstances! Lets continue to protect our teachers & students health & wellbeing by remaining focused on the essential work & not unessential things

@david_game33 @fibromyalgiaME@fmauk @VersusArthritis Every time I feel that I have found something that helps I have a flare up. There doesn’t seem to be a long term or fixed answer. Sending kind thoughts x
The Government has used evidence from a new report on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic to make children’s wellbeing & mental health a central part of its response to the coronavirus pandemic.

I don't believe in "non-readers". I believe there are kids who haven't yet found the books that will change their lives, and light the spark of #literacy – but we should NEVER give up on those kids. We should try even harder to help them find those books!
