Not Trump personally, but the Adminstration announced concrete plans to expand sterile fly production starting in May 25.

The problem is that the Biden adminstration did nothing to increase fly production. Trump did starting 3 months into his adminstration. Unfortunately we lost two years though.

@tleilax___ Funny how a new facility for sterile fly release opened in Febuary, a new production facility broke ground in April, and a Mexican production facility is expanding production with a USDA. Almost like the Trump adminstration quadrupled spending on the problem.
