LTNs and 20mph speed limits slow down buses.

The partnership between OCC and the bus companies is mutually enforceable (i.e. OCC have opened themselves up to legal liability).

One of the most surprising aspects of this story is not Ms Plummer's appointment ("group think" is common among the great and the good of Oxford).

Rather, it's that doesn't appear to have occurred to @OxfordshireCC that a big chunk of Oxford's traffic is caused by its hospitals.

@OxfordClarion 🤮Can't think if anything more depressing than living in a sink estate like that. When I passed my driving test at 18 & got my first car, my whole world opened up, drove my girlfriend & mates to the beach, helped my family with shopping & trips, work opportunities after Uni, etc
