Just quickly put together a table based on the following rules:
- 3 points for a regular win
- 2 points for an overtime win
- 1 point for a tie (shootouts eliminated) or an overtime loss
I’m not sure if it’s ideal, but it seems better to me than the current system.
Crucial win yesterday. Schmaltz locked in and showed great grit. His first goal was amazing. Then, the fake shot to try and open up the pass to Sergie at the end, but then quick decision to pull back and take a shot was awesome.
@NizzyNHL@spittinchiclets It was chippy all game, but I think it was in response to Olivier pull the same reaction to the crowd and the scuffle between the two teams late in the 3rd period.
🚨 CAUGHT ON VIDEO: PLANE FORCED TO ABORT LANDING FIVE TIMES AT ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST ISOLATED AIRPORTS
St. Helena.
Middle of the Atlantic.
One narrow runway carved into cliffs.
Passengers say you can see the runway… feel the drop… then the engines ROAR and the aircraft pulls straight back up.
Attempt #2.
Attempt #3.
Attempt #4.
By attempt #5, the cabin is silent.
When the wheels finally touch down?
The entire plane erupts in applause.
They say the footage “doesn’t even show how violent the wind really was.”
At what attempt are you mentally done?
What an amazing night? Got to celebrate my oldest son’s birthday at the @utahmammoth game…got a warm puck from his favorite player Nick Schmaltz, who then goes on to get the hat trick. #HatTrick#MakingMemories#TusksUp
At SEG our goal is to bring great things and build Utah. This is one of those things. The 18th Winter Classic coming to Utah in our 3rd year in the NHL. Couldn’t be more excited! Big things ahead! #TusksUp
@funwithnumberz@NjTank99 BYU actually had 2 top 20 wins (Utah and Arizona), for what it's worth. They got throttled both times they played Texas Tech, for sure, but just want to make sure you have the right "numberz".
Notre Dame absolutely REFUSES to play BYU in any game that they don’t have the decided home field advantage (yes, I was at the “neutral site” Shamrock series game in LV where ND had control of ticket sales, announcers, replay board, hype music/videos, ads/images, refs, etc…)
In 2010, BYU and ND signed a contract for a 6 games series… 4 in South Bend, 2 in Provo. BYU played 2 games in South Bend but the Irish refused to schedule ANY promised return trips to Provo
These top brands just keep BYU at arms length and won’t ever come play in Provo or even meet on a neutral field
The thing that bugs me about Notre Dame opting out?
I feel like BYU wants to prove they were snubbed and a win over Notre Dame would’ve gone a long way to do that.
Notre Dame has no interest in proving they should’ve been in.
I hope the committee remembers this.
