The Crown Office has been accused of "sparing Nicola Sturgeon embarrassment" by deleting dozens of women's items from Peter Murrell's indictment.
And it has been urged to publish the full details of the plea deal agreed with the shamed former SNP Chief Executive.
Murrell admitted embezzling more than £400k from his former party but originally faced accusations of stealing a larger sum, £460k.
However, prosecutors removed £60k worth of purchased goods while negotiating with his legal team, with many of these seemingly bought for a female.
The role of the Crown Office during Operation Branchform has been questioned by critics, including why Ms Sturgeon dodged any charges after Police Scotland compiled a dossier on her.
It dropped its probe into her after receiving "advice" from prosecutors.
According to the Daily Record, Sean Clerkin, the pro-independence activist whose complaint sparked the police probe, has now written to the Crown Office to demand they reveal the full details of the plea deal agreed with Murrell. He asks why any agreement was needed when the evidence was "so strong against him".

@GreenBhoy1967 COPFS did a deal with murrell for a lighter sentence, in return not to bring down the snp and the devolved assembly and not bring sturgeon and swinney into court. That can of worms would've been finished the snp.
@sdoc1888@Prae54Rae Another who throws the far right & racist words about like confetti. Address the main problem the undocumented illegals who have poured into the UK coming through EU for years. We've saw for a few years now there are very few doctors engineers or even skilled workers coming here.
@happymonkey1874@JamboJake153780@ScotNational I know, that's a typo couldn't edit.
You're (you are) on your knees licking the ring of snp sinn fein/ira✅️ I have no allegiance to any political party.
@Fyrishsunset@heraldscotland I'm sure they can find a separate toilet for those men that see themselves as women.
The signage on the door should read QUEER.

Scotland asked a precise question.
How did Peter Murrell manage to embezzle more than £400,000 from the SNP over 12 years?
@theSNP had every reason to fear that question.
The @scottishgreens arrived just in time to change the subject.
Middle-class wine bar revolutionary Ross Greer protects Swinney from an inquiry.
“And, no matter how hard he clenches that wee fist, Ross Greer is just another establishment politician looking out for his dodgy mates.”
@WYesscots@GreenBhoy1967 You have proof of DUP politicians "ties" to UVF & UDA? The PSNI over the years have consistently said that sinn fein are still controlled by the ira army council. Honest john said 'move on' but he can go enjoy himself with his banana & Nutella.

Today we remember Captain Gavin John Hamilton MC, who died on 10th June 1982.
Captain Gavin John Hamilton (15 May 1953 – 10 June 1982), of the Green Howards and 19 (Mountain) Troop, D Squadron, 22 Special Air Service, was killed in action behind enemy lines on West Falkland on this day in 1982.
Operating in an observation post near Many Branch Point (close to Port Howard), Hamilton and his small team provided vital intelligence during the Falklands War. On the 10th June, they were discovered by an Argentine patrol from the 601 Commando Company. Hamilton and his signaller provided covering fire to allow the rest of the team to withdraw. He was killed in the ensuing firefight; his signaller was captured.
For his leadership, courage, and gallantry throughout the campaign; including earlier successful SAS operations, he was posthumously awarded the Military Cross.

Hamilton's sacrifice, like that of all who fell in the Falklands, ensured the liberation of the islands and remains a powerful example of duty, selflessness, and courage. Lest we forget.
