IGNITE recruitment update 🎯

IGNITE is ANZGOG’s first platform study with the introduction of the third arm with a new agent. #AdvancingResearchSavingLives

Honored to co-author this paper regarding patient involvement in the development of international gynaecological cancer clinical trials. Hopefully our recommendations & insights encourage higher rates of patient and carer involvement in ALL oncology trials, not just gynae.

Grateful to have coauthored this important analysis looking at patient involvement within GCIG’s research. Hopefully the recommendations will be incorporated into future research undertaken by GCIG after demonstrating the value patient contributions can add to trial outcomes.

ANZGOG's EPOCH study has recruited its first patient at @PeterMacCC 👏

EPOCH is a Phase II open label international clinical trial, which seeks to improve outcomes in women with tubo-ovarian or uterine carcinosarcoma by providing patients with access to a treatment that offers a greater degree of clinical benefit compared to currently available standard chemotherapeutic options. This is a significant opportunity for patients who would otherwise not have access to such treatment options.

The study aims to recruit 90 participants from Australia and around the globe.
