And here we sit two hours later in an an A220 filled to capacity, and we've been on the ground at @flytweed longer than our actual flight.

Never mind we were just couple hundred yards from the terminal. Then once we finally got to pull up, @flytweed cited storm safety refs and won't pull the stairs up to us.

@adrianfclarke That fabric is Clark Plaid from the Mk VII GTI - had to get the base model to get it in the US (I did ✔️) and had to get leather if you wanted a sunroof. GTI plaid > GTI sunroof.

@davidntracy @the_autopian Does it really have lots of soul? My Maverick Hybrid lacked soul, and I think some of that was the overall 200" length (comp to GMC Acadia).

The Slate (and TELO) look to be VW Saviero or kei truck alternatives for the US market, and I'm all for that!
