The U.S. President brazenly violated multiple Articles as he threatened violence against countries like Iran and Cuba, and bragged about attacks on Venezuela and boats in the Caribbean. 1. 🇺🇸 Trump said: “Do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations?” 🇺🇳🌐 U.N. Charter: “All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state” [Article 2(4)] This statement also violates Article 2(3) on peaceful settlement of disputes, and Article 1(1) on the purpose of the UN to maintain international peace. 2. 🇺🇸 Trump said: “My administration is also seeking a fundamental change in the situation in Cuba... It's failing like never before, and it will fall.” 🇺🇳🌐 U.N.
