@RobertJenrick Jenrick's flagrant dishonesty is second only to GBNews's in giving a platform to mislead the public and fail to take responsibility for a crisis his administration caused.
@daveatherton Nonsense. "Allegedly" = a rumour someone may well have made up but you're spreading for tawdry political advantage. Farage has an EU pension & he obviously doesn't feel obliged to "look after their best interests first"
@BladeoftheS I've a generous nature so I hesitate to say with 100% certainty that Musk's meant to give a Nazi salute. A better guide is who he supports (financially, etc) & what he posts/reposts. As these include hard right figures he can't moan if people conclude he's a Nazi/Nazi sympathiser
@MichelleDewbs An autistic, somewhat socially awkward guy who has manipulated X's algorithms to push hard right memes/lies, backs a hard right parties/individuals in Germany, UK etc & hopes to oust elected leaders he dislikes - it's no surprise that his salute is open such an interpretation
@EsheruKwaku For decades PMs have had security like this, it's naive to think otherwise. Even if they had 100% support of the electorate security would be needed for very obvious reasons.
@Inevitablewest Drivel. Supporters of all UK parties have had arrangements like this with US counterparts for decades. It made no significant difference to the result. It also happened without a murmur. Liz Truss & Nigel Farrage fell over themselves to back Trump. Double standards writ large.
@elonmusk It's a malicious & unfounded lie to claim the "Labour minister for child welfare shields the predators". Re: corruption, an accusations doesn't = being corrupt. Musk was silent about Johnson's corruption & backs felon Trump. Hypocrite
@elonmusk This is b/s. There are currently 5,600+ Labour councillors & many more activists/advisors. Cyril Smith left the Labour Party 50+ years ago & it's unclear how far back this list goes. 2-5% of adult males are paedophiles, 51 out of such a number would be below the expected number.
@mehdirhasan I ask those claiming that Hitler was a Communist why if this was so his contemporary Daily Mail-owning Lord Rothermere, an outspoken anti-communist, enthusiastically backed the Nazis. I've never yet had an answer, let alone a coherent one. They knew who & what Hitler was...
@BRICSinfo Musk's suggestion is full on tin foil hat lunacy which any sane person would treat with derision. It's probably also a warning against dosing yourself with ketamine.
Truth & Lies.
Mix Musk's interventions with Starmer's unpopularity, is it possible to separate the truth from the lies?
(Strong language and adult themes.)
@TheDisproof See https://t.co/KRXZVtYAUO. Interview with NT Director Hillary McGrady starts at 22.38 talking about biodiversity. At 26.23 the interviewer says the NT had found itself "in the crosshairs of the Culture Wars" & continues "It's very woke to talk about climate change ..." 26.29
The CEO of the National Trust was interviewed today on PM (BBC Radio 4) about their plans inc. how they intended to address Global Warming. The interviewer suggested doing so would be regarded as evidence that the NT was "woke". No, it's recognising the science! @TheDisproof
@RealDonKeith You're confusing what people have done with what the media choses to report. Muslim groups have issued strongly worded condemnations of grooming gangs but much of the media isn't interested in reporting the fact.
@elonmusk If Hitler was a communist, why was it that in the 1930s the fanatically anti-communist Lord Rothermere & his paper (Daily Mail) were fervent admirers of Hitler & the Nazis? I think they were far better placed to recognise what they were than Musk & other ill-informed revisionists
@AndrewWappat I didn't move to Kent until 1978 although to be fair Woolston, Southampton (where I then lived) is about a dozen miles closer to South Shields than Canterbury!
