That’s a wrap on our 4th Annual Be Well Serve Well Conference!🙌It was a jammed packed day with over 300 people in attendance. Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the day. A special shoutout goes to our BWSW Committee who made it all happen! Thank you. https://t.co/m9AVpIZcYy
The hook shot from #Mavs Luka Doncic was very impressive on re-watch. #Raptors Scottie Barnes, who has a 7-2 wingspan, couldn't impact the shot.
“The best play was my hook shot for sure," Doncic. "I laughed about that one. ... I like my coffee with a little Kareem.”

This week will mark the first #bellletstalk day since I have moved from Canada to the US. Now that I have begun a new chapter I want to share the story of the past 10 years of fighting for change in Canada. Buckle your seatbelts…this is a long thread 🧵
A company isn't a family. Parents don't fire their kids for low performance or furlough them in hard times.
A better vision for a workplace is a community—a place where people bond around shared values, feel valued as human beings, and have a voice in decisions that affect them.
Many people hesitate to share their work because they're uncomfortable promoting themselves.
Sharing your art, writing, or invention isn't an act of self-promotion. It's an act of self-expression.
If you don't put your ideas out in the world, no one else can benefit from them.
Burnout is being overwhelmed by work. Boreout is being underwhelmed by work.
Data: having too much to do is exhausting, but having too little to do is demoralizing. In idle time, motivation wanes.
Sustaining energy depends on balancing what's meaningful with what's manageable.
People don’t call 911 because they want to go to the hospital, people call 911 because they want a solution to a problem. Going to the hospital is just one potential solution, not the only solution.
Let’s bring ethics back into pre-hospital medicine.
“It’s a sign of wisdom to avoid believing every thought that enters your mind. It’s a mark of emotional intelligence to avoid internalizing every feeling that enters your heart.” -Adam Grant
Changing your mind doesn't mean you've abandoned your principles. It may mean you've learned something.
It's better to contradict yourself and be accused of hypocrisy than to stick to your guns and sacrifice your integrity.
The hallmark of integrity is honesty, not consistency.
If you’re in a position of power and find yourself justifying toxic work conditions with “it was like that for me also” stop and think about:
-wasn’t it awful for you?
-don’t you want it to be better for others?
-what can you do to make that happen?
Family physicians and NPs please come to our Town hall and learn about resources available to you to help you care for patients with COPD/CHF/frail elderly who are in the community or waiting LTC. @VineetMD @GSchacter@jclarkefamdoc@sdmckay2002@DocSarahJ@dpepe88@BKaschor
