The Canadian model has shown us the unintended consequences of assisted dying laws for those who felt a burden to loved ones. It’s not hard to see how loneliness and isolation could influence decision making to this end too 😣

Suspect my older sister would say the same about antidepressants being life saving many years ago. A balance of risk and benefit at the time, and (with other complimentary non 💊therapies) one which has led to a largely medication free life.
