We are supposed to believe that a President who got 53% of the vote in 2023 has gotten 99% of the people to give him a term extension after three years of not delivering water, healthcare, roads, education and jobs? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"We wish to put it on record that The president has not conducted himself as a constitutionalist.... CAB3 is a personal and political project of a cabal"
You have now listened to the audio. It contains things you already know; things that have kept you enraged for all this time. Your anger does not matter, because you did not fight in the liberation struggle and, according to the ruling party, you are considered sellouts. Suck it up.
What I, however, want to know is this: why do the contents of that audio not matter to ZANU PF and to those who fought in the war? Why are you comfortable with an alleged ZANU PF member openly claiming that he can take over government without your support?
To all concerned: why is it that this man cannot produce his own wealth, but instead only wants to take what belongs to other people or to the state? How long are you going to tolerate this and when exactly will this become a problem for you?
The message here is “Mukuru wema hours” asarirwa nenguva pfupi~pfupi yehubvanzu-bvanzu kudya kwemhumhi masoja achitambura. Varikuba and bragging in front of the suffering masses, the torn uniform symbolises the struggle within the lower ranks in our barracks! Hokoyo ne Gunners !!
🔸The Constitution Amendment Bill No 3 can ONLY be tested via a referendum! Anything short of that is a full- blown coup against our Constitution and it MUST be CHALLENGED!! #NoTo2030 !!
I am kindly requesting those who are close to Zimbabwe’s Justice Minister, Ziyambi Ziyambi, who has just embarrassed himself by claiming that Zimbabwe’s war of liberation was not based on one man, one vote, in defence of attempts to take away Zimbabweans’ vote for the Presidency, to kindly share with him these pages.
These two pages are from the Zimbabwe African National Union, ZANU, policy statement issued in then Salisbury on 21 August 1963. This policy declaration, set out ZANU’s founding ideological framework, including one man, one vote, the rule of law and separation of powers, a unitary and indivisible state, non-racialism, a constitutional Bill of Rights, and universal citizenship.
The historical record is clear. The demand for majority rule was not an afterthought. It was central to the liberation struggle. It was spelt out clearly that it was one man one vote.
So, in essence, Ziyambi Ziyambi, who is now the Legal Secretary for ZANUPF and the Justice Minister, does not even understand the foundation that ZANU set when it embarked on the liberation struggle.
He does not understand what the liberation struggle was about, and yet he sits at the helm of the legal department of the same political party, mispronouncing its policy objectives at inception when it began the liberation struggle.
The Minister is not only ignorant of the country’s Constitution, he is also ignorant of the historical record of the liberation struggle as set out by the very political party of which he is not only a member, but its Legal Secretary.
Happy Birthday Dr Strive Masiyiwa.
We celebrate you with deep gratitude. Through your scholarship, many of us were taken to school when hope was thin and opportunity scarce.
Today, we stand as leaders in our communities and different professions because you chose to plant seeds of hope whose fruits now serve society.
We carry that responsibility with pride and humility.
Wishing you strength, wisdom, and many more years of impact.
