@JamesHubbard113@Delta This is terrible from @Delta, travelling is such a complicated and expensive affair for customers these days, and to be treated like this is just unacceptable James.
Continuing to impress, I tried the latest @DanburyRidge Chardonnay and Pinot Noir 2020 vintage from the Crouch Valley in #Essex.

Some thirty years on since @Nyetimber's first commercial harvest, John has tasted through seven vintages of the estate’s flagship Blanc de Blancs with winemaker @GreatrixBrad.

Made the most of the Bank Holiday Friday with a #Jubilee special lunch of Coronation Chicken salad, follow we d by matcha cheesecake. Both paired with the indulgent and very rare @coolhurstestate Sec Royale.
Then a lovely day to continue filming and catch up with the great wines and people of @WineGardenKent, including @HatchMansfield @DomaineEvremond, @Squerryes, @WestwellWines, @ChapelDownWines and @simpsonwine in the grounds of the beautiful Squerryes Court.
In unsurprising news... @lismorewine is a brilliant host and total legend.
Perhaps more insightful info... her '20 Estate Chard is nothing short of ridiculously good. Haven't had a SA Chard epiphany that big in years. Buy!!
I turned 40 yesterday, and celebrated over the weekend with so many great friends, family and wines including wines from the four decades of my life... 82, 92, 02, 12. Obviously #EnglishWine featured strongly too, including @Nyetimber 92, @__H_R__ and @AlburyVineyard 12.
Great to catch up with the man that helped kick off my wine journey, @RobbiePriddle. I think we first met over a glass of @RKershawWines Chardonnay at an @NakedWines tasting. And we've shared the epic @Nyetimber BdB 92 once before. Hugely value your friendship & generosity mate.
Blue skies and sun, has the spring finally arrived? Today I revised one of my favourite #EnglishSparkling Rosé of last year, @BalfourWinery Saignée Rosé 2018 and paired with a duo of tasty homemade pizzas. Yum, I just can't get enough of this wine!
Screwcap v Cork continued…
Cork - Higher stakes - risk/reward…reward won the day
Screwcap - Rise of the food technicians. Older wines definitely had that after the ‘Best Before Date’ taint.
It was great to put my blind tasting practice (thanks @BlindFaithWine) to test at @DanburyRidge for a rather epic international Pinot Noir tasting with the Danbury team, Matt @grapebritannia and @atkinson_mw. I brought along @Begude Capella Pinot Noir.
It was a pleasure to be back at @DanburyRidge to taste some the hotly anticipated 2020 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as an exclusive preview of the outstanding #EnglishSparkling that will be coming in a year or two. It was perfect to toast to winemaker Liam's 40th birthday!
