Jim Chalmers has lost control of his controlled economy.

They are now keeping the fuel excise discount for another month. An idea rejected at the last election.

They are not doing this because they want to, they are doing it because they must.

There is no wiggle room. Australia is broke, in debt and the only economic growth is government spending. It's worse than that, the only economic activity is government spending.

Australia no longer produces much, and the things we do make or do, are frightfully expensive.

Our ridiculous energy grid is the primary driver of our demise, as costs balloon and supply contracts.

Our industrial relations system is better suited to the 1970s and pays no respect at all to the global economic circumstances and the otherwise high cost of doing everything.

The care economy is a scam economy and it is the only economy left.

It requires much higher taxation if inflation is to be kept in check, but the people can barely afford to live as it is.

They have us jammed into a corner, and they have no plan to fix anything.

We've been on the wrong path for decades. Taxed on one side and brutally nannied on the other.

Something has got to give.

I just want Australia back.
