The days and nights in hospital. The smiles, the tears, the holidays, the laughter, the Lego, the cuddles and the love all summed up in one picture, when I crossed the line in London.
Because the love a dad has for his child doesn’t end. It doesn’t fade. It doesn’t get easier. It just finds new ways to show itself.
I took on something that was completely beyond me: two marathons in two weeks, carrying Hugh’s shoes. It drained me so much that I collapsed in a restaurant afterwards. But I did it. We did it.
Together, we have raised over £26,000, and the story has now had more than 5 million views worldwide. The impact of these marathons, and the meaning behind them, has gone far beyond me.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, donated, messaged and carried us through.
Now, in 48 hours, we go to Downing Street. ❤️🦋

For two decades, S3 has been an object store, but today it's something broader. S3 Files lets you mount any bucket as a filesystem—no copies, no sync scripts, no choosing between file and object. @andywarfield tells the full story, including the "filerectories" that almost made the cut. https://t.co/zrkLOZS5Qe

@Keir_Starmer I rang 999 yesterday for a child with head injuries and broken knee from a bike accident=2 hour wait lying on the road.
6 weeks ago, I + armed police rang for another cyclist outside Buckingham Palace with broken elbow & shoulder and was told that it didn’t warrant an ambulance.
@adamhjk How does a CLI solve for input parameters that are structured? MCP gives strong typing, CLI is only going to cause the LLM to guess at the shape of an input based on a weakly typed example from the —help flag or error message, no?
@AdamRackis You should look at the writings of @swardley here: IIRC he called out the direction of travel a year or more ago. Access to big, powerful, expensive AI is going to be a social marker, in the way that an inside bathroom vs shared outhouse did in late Victorian era.
@AdamRackis I’m finding Rust Rover hangs and needs restarting. Also each Jetbrains IDE I use (Python, Rust, Go, Webstorm) wants up to 4 GB each. Bit flaky, really. I think this might be the year I finally move to VSCode and cancel my pro subscription and save disk space and cash.
@adamdrwatts@defencewithac Here he is some years later as my wingman in another sandy paradise admiring the results of his textbook dust landing. No, its undercarriage is not supposed to bend like that and it’s not supposed to need packing crates to not fall over. “Don’t worry, it’ll buff out”.
