@matigary@CMukungunugwa He could clearly afford them seeing that the Private Jet was registered in his personal name. At no point in time did he ever claim to own the helicopters he was flying in. It's an assumption YOU made.
@nyanyadzi@M_Jay94 I doubt that. It's a twin pilot Aircraft where two pilots guarantee redundancy. In any case the black box will show the flight path and pilot inputs before the crash.
@M_Jay94 I highly doubt that. It would be a suicide mission for anyone onboard and impossible to plan ahead given the fact that the itenerary and weather were spontaneous. Very likely pilot disorientation. My suspicion is that the VIP (or pilot) instructed a U-turn/reroute mid-flight.
@DougSA2@PacheduZW He said the assumed the 1st Heli landed because of weather then they proceeded to Harare to fetch cars so that they could collect the principal and wait for the weather to clear the following morning before the heli could take off. It was not possible to return by air.
@M_Jay94@PacheduZW He said the itinerary was Marondera then Harare. Weather was so bad first heli rerouted over Surrey and conveyed weather conditions to second heli. First heli then updated second heli when it was 10mins from destination. 1st Heli clarified which destination tomwhich 2nd confirmed
@MbuyiseniNdlozi An indictment on your brand of Pan-African politics. Naive, loud, rhetorical and populist. Empty virtue signals. Welcome to Geopolitics 101. India, China, Israel, USA and Russia. Overt diplomacy coupled with covert confrontation and patience all underpinned by self-interest.
