So supermarkets will have to raise prices by £ 133 per household to preserve profits (50% margin assumed). Add VAT = about £160 extra on bills per household, i.e just over £3 a week.

Pleased to say that this brave student @MaeveHalligan is coming on my show this evening @lbc at 2030 to set out some basic facts.
I’m amazed at her courage.
The Union has fallen.
When I last addressed the @OxfordUnion, Lord Heseltine was kept waiting to speak for hours while people shouted and screamed at each other about procedural arcana until he walked out in disgust, none of the chaos was prevented by the elected officers ie the President, Treasurer and Secretary who were all sectarian pro Palestinian activists.
The evening was a total shambles.
