The divide in our country appears to be between those who are willing to submit on behalf of the common good, and those who want the common good to submit to their private rights. “We first” vs “Me first”. Most desire both...but when forced to choose, the distinction gets clear.
Pre-312 AD Christianity was movemental and house-to-house.
Constantine in 312 introduced us to the strength of empire, consolidating resources, doctrinal purity, hierarchical leadership, governing power, and sacred buildings.
This changed the entire character of Christianity.
Set the bar lower.
Simplify your task.
Take twice as long.
Neglect the unimportant.
Kill “until”.
Get rid of secret rules.
Have twice as much fun.
