Last weekend was our biggest weekend of canvassing yet, we had 50 volunteers come out to knock the doors of over 6,000 Ward 1 neighbors!
We've only got TWO weekends left before Election Day! Let's make this weekend even bigger! 🚪💥

Centrists confuse being pro-housing with being pro-developer profit. JLG is friendly to construction. She wants to cut red tape & upzone every ward, including West of the Park. She just opposes giving away public land & corporate tax breaks while working families get priced out.
Brother our whole point is we don’t like the results of you being “on the issue” like??? If Councilmember McDuffie oversaw DC getting the highest utility bills in the country… what can we assume Mayor McDuffie would do??
@kenyanmcduffie Kenyan, why did you lie in the News4 debate and deny you killed the PPA provision in the 2018 clean energy bill that would have saved DC families hundreds of dollars?
We have the #receipts ⤵️

Janeese has also been endorsed by five sitting CMs, nearly every major union, members of the SBOE, *and* DC AG Karl Racine. She also won polls for two major DC LGBTQ+ orgs (Stonewall and GLAA) as well as the Ward 8 Dem straw poll.
Is there a reason that was left out? 👀🤔
This is Donna Cooper. Previously Pepco’s top lobbyist. She got him to kill an energy affordability measure in 2018. It costs DC families $300-$500 a year.
Hundreds of millions for Pepco. A few mins waving a sign. Good deal for Pepco, bad deal for DC.

If you're put off by the local Democratic Party spending three years trying to undo the will of the voters in order to protect incumbents who can only win with a minority of the vote... vote for all 20 "Free DC Slate" candidates on your ballot https://t.co/jyCENn6bf2
I am told that this ad, featuring Zohran Mamdani teaming up with Brad Lander, Darializa Avila Chevalier, and Claire Valdez, aired during tonight’s NBA Finals game between the Spurs and the Knicks.
I see a woman who’s gracious to a departing colleague on his last day as he resigns from office, looks to find common ground, and shows value in public service. Interesting choice to turn that around and use it as fodder for a campaign ad. That choice says more than she did.
DC had the chance to lock in lower renewable energy rates in 2018 with the Clean Energy DC Act.
As Council Committee Chair, McDuffie stripped the provision from the bill as a favor to Pepco lobbyists.
Today, DC residents are paying ~$24 more a month as a result of the decision.
NEW POLL: @Janeese4DC leads @kenyanmcduffie by 14%
"Bottom line: the attacks from McDuffie and his allies have backfired. Lewis George has only gotten stronger as voters have gotten to know her, while McDuffie's standing is moving in the wrong direction."
Happy Pride Month, DC! 🌈 Save the date for a special Pride-themed Meet & Greet with Aparna at Sinners and Saints next Wednesday, June 10!

It’s really wild just how many of McDuffie’s most vocal supporters have a clear financial incentive to say positive things about him. We all have to make difficult choices under capitalism but I think there’s something particularly vile about this type of person.
Reason #37291473636361 we are voting for @Janeese4DC!
@kenyanmcduffie is against permit reform, he's against open streets, he's against traffic enforcement, he's against muti modal transportation...what is he even for???
When I knocked the doors of ovef 1,000 voters to reelect @Janeese4DC, voters across the ward said how grateful they were for her attention to their neighborhood. That’s why the overwhelmingly voted to reelect her, and that’s why I’m so excited for her to be the next mayor of DC!
