@DougLesmerises Went to check it out in response to your post. Mine ironically began with “this is an iheart podcast…guaranteed human”. I guess not much of a guarantee.
@BuschMachine @HFLarry69 FWIW, this is not accurate re which school dropped out (it was usc). Have noticed this multiple times with these grok summaries for paywalled recruiting info.
@JonMooreArt@FredMinnick I had a bottle of the 2015 toasted barrel that i finished off not too long ago. It’s fine but you’re not missing anything all that interesting.
@andystaples just fyi re today’s show, Onianwa hasn’t started for Ohio State this year (which was of course a surprise that he got beat out). Keep up the great work (sincerely)!
@DerbyCityPhil I mean technically it does have a minimum time - it may just be an “instant in time”, but it does need to spend at least a moment in time in charred virgin oak.
@FredMinnick I’ve seen multiple of them sitting on the shelf at my local grocery store here for the last couple months. Honestly even at the modern MSRP I haven’t felt compelled to pick one up - that still feels overpriced to me
@ShannonTerry@Rivals@on3 Do you mind clarifying - if I subscribe to say Lettermen Row (the OSU On3 site), will I get access to both UGA sites? Or only the On3 one? Thanks!
@MaxSD09 Oh cool. I hadn’t realized there were two until I tuned the game on and saw the different uniforms. Assumed by the score they must not be very good - I stand corrected!
@MaxSD09 Think that’s the other Mater Dei - the one from Santa Ana that wears red uniforms. This one “Mater dei catholic” is from Chula Vista and was wearing gold.
@Bourbontruth If you can’t find one of those where you are (since brandy availability can vary by state) Total Wine also sells a 20 year Breuil that is actually pretty good for being from a larger producer. Pacory also very good (and good value) but prob harder to find
@Bourbontruth Camut is considered to be the best and is quite good (but is expensive to most of its peers at their relative age points). Lemorton is also one of the better producers. Either one of those would make a great gift
@Dubsco Seems like their policy prohibiting voters from disclosing their votes ahead of time (to prevent projections of the winner) has also blunted the conversation around the award that used to be so prevalent. Doesn’t have the cachet it did 10+ years ago
@Dubsco@leader_ai The fact that Meyer happened to be available loomed over that whole transition (assuming he wanted the job). People liked Fickell in a vacuum as a potential JT successor but not in a world where UFM was a realistic option (esp given how that season went)
