@JamCristopher Yeah it bothers me mostly because it comes from a general dehumanization of athletes. Theyre expected to be robots performing to our standards when they are humans prone to ups and downs like anyone which is magnified when competing at the highest level.
@rxmart2 It’s funny nuggets fans think he’s amazing because he’s made all these big trades (that are all bad) in MN, but I feel like his greatest quality in Denver was actually resisting making those kind of trades and letting our roster organically grow into a contender
@chillducey Yeah I’m honestly a little more confident. Just don’t see the floor being that low with Tyus and Bagley as the foundation. DDR a big question mark but I’m also higher on Julian and Spencer as well for where they are in the pecking order.
@chillducey Yeah I agree last years team was one of the deepest we've had. The previous 2 though I think were the most shallow. Im pretty high on Tyus and Bagley being the best backup 1 and 5 we've had since Monte and Plumlee. And generally think we're way better at roster spots 11-15
@waltdenver Yup. Once you realize Zeke has a very specific skillset that actually does work on this roster as a PF and is fine as a 11/12th man life is bliss.
@cobrajok@RFreemyer Yeah I don’t think I’ve seen it with him defensively yet. Seems really slow and doesn’t have the vertical athleticism or size to deter anything at the rim.
@RFreemyer Yeah I agree he’s more of a 4 but his feet look really slow to be able to guard the perimeter or be an impactful backline defender. Just feels like a spot up shooter only at this point, but would like to see some minutes to get a definitive look.
@Adam_Mares I like Nembhard as a TJ McConnell-like low center of gravity, quick in tight spaces guard that likes to get to the midrange. Think that type of player is actually valuable against thunder/spurs/wolves who press into the ball handler and play drop.
@LoreWeston@rxmart2@jmorton78 I disagree on what Milwaukee did. They bungled every draft pick they had and made increasingly desperate trades culminating in the ludicrous combination of buying out Dame to sign Turner. Do agree Kroenkes have let too much talent walk out the door
@rxmart2@jmorton78 Genuinely do not understand anyone who compares the nuggets to the bucks situation. How the teams and the players themselves have gone about their business have been almost polar opposites.
@nuggetsfan9717 Think they got better offensively on the bench honestly. Maybe won’t get the highs of when THJ would go nuclear but I think it’ll be way more consistent. Tyus and Demar never turn the ball over so should get an efficient look most times down.
@AndrewDBailey Won’t turn the ball over and will generate efficient offense. Won’t have a great defense but it’ll be set more often than not with few transition and semi-transitions points given up.
