@m_crouton Thanks so very much for sharing Luscious with us. He was the gruff old guy always hanging around complaining about the youngsters (and headbutting them when needed). In our house, we nicknamed him "Lunches" because he was always looking for another one.
@VABVOX@VABVOX - it will get easier and yet grief will still come roaring back when you hit an emotional pothole. Stay strong and remember that she'd want you to keep going and be happy. π
@VABVOX Victoria- feel you on this one, as I'm >2 years from losing my wife of 30+ yrs. Find something energizing to keep going (+ another social beyond Twiddler...it's getting worse). Find something to keep her legacy going. Have some IRL friends who can give you a hug.
@seahorsebend Glad to hear you're doing better @seahorsebend ! Sometimes it's tough to remember that it's always dark before the dawn - especially when you're mired in grief
@SuddenWidow It's not another day. Take the time and space to remember and celebrate him, and hopefully others will too. I know your pain - coming up on the second anniversary of my wife's death. Going to be another tough one...
@seahorsebend@gladiatorinpink Jenn, I hope that you can more grace/peace soon. Talking to therapists & other people who are in your position can help. My situation is similar but different. I still feel the pain & guilt regularly, but I recognize it is not my fault & hindsight can't bring her back
@seahorsebend I have watched very few TV series shows in the last ~2 years. Only watched things I had only watched by myself and rarely even those. She loved sitting on couch with me watching shows, so couch x memory.
I've watched more @StephenAtHome@thelateshow than anything else
@jeeeberts - despite looking around thoroughly, I couldn't find the store to buy the supply I need for the upcoming week. Guess I have to make do with "YES" and "MAYBE".
@wsmith725@seahorsebend It's not a start to finish process, more like a grief coaster. You never knew what the next turn is bringing, there are ups and downs, and you're certain to see curves and drops repeatedly.
@lucaswmuller Offer support <> paying for site/content. You have helped them, with very little cost to them. They (and MLS in general) need more coverage and fan visibility. @MLS and teams need to step up and help ($) or coordinate getting help.
