Q: Why should any police department have the power to use Flock cameras to build a location history of innocent people without a warrant, oversight, or suspicion?
Isn't that what the 4th amendment protects?
🔥 This is the exchange that perfectly captures why trust in Washington’s foreign policy is in the gutter.
Tucker Carlson to Mike Huckabee :
“How much does it matter what Americans think?”
“It matters every bit.”
“80% oppose war with Iran.”
“We don’t live in a world where polls dictate policy.” “Oh, I thought you said it matters what Americans think.”
When the American people overwhelmingly say no to another war, the response isn’t “we hear you”
it’s “polls don’t matter.”
If public opinion doesn’t guide whether we send our sons and daughters to fight… then whose opinion does?
"Trump's critics claim he’s blowing the midterms. But that’s a fundamental misunderstanding of the Trump psychology. He is, in fact, laser focused on the midterms— because the Save America Act would help him rig them. He doesn’t want to earn votes, which he could have done legitimately by signing the housing bill; he wants to rig the rules of the game before a single vote is even cast... When a president would rather blow up his own party’s legislative win than let a real election happen on a level playing field, that tells you he’s not preparing to win the midterms. He’s preparing to make sure it doesn’t matter whether he does."

My UBER driver in Baltimore told me he just got out of an ICE facility, that he spent 8 days in Washington and 51 days in a facility in Arizona. His wife reported him missing, cops had no idea ICE had taken him. He said, “She thought I was dead.” He’s an American citizen. Took them that long to realize it. This is just one guy. There’s thousands...
The federal government is making hunger and food insecurity in the US harder to measure.
The Trump administration cancelled the USDA-Census household food-security survey. This was a 30-year program widely considered to be the country's best measure of hunger.
Its final report found that 13.7% of US households experienced food insecurity, which is the highest rate in a decade, and approximately 4.7 million people have subsequently lost SNAP benefits.
In other words, the state is dismantling its ability to document food deprivation at the same time that it's producing more of it.
Truly despicable behavior from our government.
If it turns out Mitch McConnell is dead and the GOP are involved in a coverup to prevent a special election that is mandated by Kentucky law, people need to go to prison.
Full stop.
🚨 Security researcher Ben Jordan reveals that Flock cameras are secretly creating a GPS tracker for every car in America, and it’s already live
This is extremely concerning
“Flock license plate readers take a timestamped photo of every vehicle that passes every camera. Police can search your historical travel information for 30 days. This creates a searchable database of everyone, not just the suspects of crime — It's like if you were to build a graph of that sheet and plot it to a map, now it's as if you've had a GPS on your car for an entire month”
“In order for that historical data to be of investigative value, you have to track every car”
Flocks own training videos say they aren’t just tracking license plates, they’re tracking people
“But Flock's own webinars talk about its license plate reader's ability to track vehicles and people”
Directly from the investigation:
But the company’s own training videos show police using the system to track suspects “from location to location to location.”
And some of its cameras are designed to follow people as they walk.
“And they quite literally use AI to zoom in and follow you around whether you’re a person of interest or not,”
We need to ban Flock nationwide, this is the surveillance state being established
#BREAKING: Psaki: “[there’s] nothing that Donald Trump is more fixated on than undermining the integrity of American elections, and he is using every lever at his disposal to do so. It has really become kind of a whole of government approach. He has tried to strong arm Republicans in Congress to pass his expansive voter restriction bill, he has installed election deniers throughout his administration, his defense secretary has not ruled out deploying troops during the upcoming midterms, and his administration talks about sending federal agents like ICE officers to the poles as well. Trump has also attempted to use the US Postal Service to restrict mail-in ballots, and he’s tried to rewrite election laws with executive orders to make it harder to vote. In just the last week, Trump’s Department of Homeland Security told states that it would withhold antiterrorism funds unless they change their voting rules, his DOJ threatened state election officials with prosecution in an attempt to intimidate them, and just last night, Trump with the go ahead from the conservative majority Supreme Court, purged the remaining members of the Election Assistance Commission, a bipartisan independent agency that supports election officials nationwide in administering elections. So, that is a lot, and I probably just skimmed the surface there, and if you’re wondering why Trump might have done the last piece I just mentioned, just consider that the commission was part of a joint statement that said there was no evidence that the 2020 election was compromised, and we know how he feels about that.” 🤦♀️
Every day this raving fucking lunatic reminds the world that the most dangerous weapon in America isn’t a missile - it’s his fucking mouth attached to a feral toddler’s brain with no adult supervision.
