@PatrickGormanMP Apprentices don’t build the houses. The builders who do construct the houses take on the time and costs of hiring an apprentice at the expense of their own time spent on productive building. This policy rewards the unskilled and doesn’t raise productivity. More taxpayer waste.

@StevenJMiles Why does the cost average out to over $7m per cell? Is this project more for the benefit of unions and unionised companies, or the people. Because I’m sure the people will find a private company to build it just the same, if not better, at a much more cost effective price.
