@BillSimmons Turned off the game after SGA had 7 FTAs in the first few minutes. I can't watch it. He's not even attempting to make a shot most of the time. He also pushes off on pretty much every drive and never gets called for an offensive foul.
@NickVanExit Watched it again a couple days ago Youngblood. My 7 year old couldn’t believe Uncle Drew was Kyrie, at least not until he showed off the handles.
@ralphstrangis @dallasmavs It's crazy how much the front office and ownership messed this up. You don't make this trade under any circumstances and if you absolutely have to, you need to get a "Kings Ransom".
Then to double down and alienate your fans even more is just stupid. It's unbelievable.
@NickVanExit What did you think of that last possession in Q1? I didn’t like Gortman with the ball there. He went too soon and didn’t even get a shot off. He left enough time for them to get a good look. It was basically at least a 5 point swing there. That kind of jump started the comeback.
@NickVanExit Another terrible possession when we were up by 7 late. Luka dribbling for 20 seconds then turning it over. That was the turning point. We had a chance to go up double digits under 4 and don't even get a shot off.
@LockedOnMavs@NickVanExit@BiasedSlightly Lively with 6 assists was the stat of the night. If he is doing that consistently, he unlocks a whole new level for himself and the whole offense.
@coopmavs It’s the nature of the business. Coaches have pretty much been free agents for a while, and now with NIL the players are too.
College is becoming more like professional sports at a rapid pace. Money talks.
We need more “Dirks” in this world.
“Loyalty never fades away”
@NickVanExit Everyone is acting like we were blown off the court in Games 1-3. If any one of our role players showed up the way they did last night we very easily could have won game 2 or 3 and if Kyrie just has an average game 2 we very easily could have won that game.
@coopmavs@unclebarkycom@NBA The world of "hot takes" has taken over "sports jouranlism". You also can't just celebrate the winner you have to tear down the "loser".
I miss the days of Sportcenter all morning on ESPN. When you could just catch the highlights and maybe some interviews.
@coopmavs Wouldn’t a jump stop be a great way to attack this very aggressive shot blocking team? They have blocked so many shots on break aways. That seems like a fundamental move that we don’t use enough.
@coopmavs The defense was outstanding as well. They were all over the court. Closing out on everything and just making it tough for OKC. Those 4th Quarter buckets were CLUTCH! We needed every single rebound and point. What a great game!
@coopmavs The defense was awesome tonight. Hard close outs and the rotations were always on point. Still had some bad TOs but the defense was getting back and still getting stops.
