@Kekius_Sage The better way to understand it is that light creates spacetime, so it has to be a local constant. A lot of new physics can come out of that idea; but maybe not warp drive.

@Kekius_Sage Stay confused. Its the model definitions, not anything intuitive. The idea is that space is stretching so the distance is more than the time. But it makes more sense to use equivalent units - then space and time expand together and there is no faster than light illusion.

@Kekius_Sage Expansion means distant space is more stretched, but then it is compared in the model to local time: that creates an illusion. In reality, distant time is also stretched so C actually remains constant.

@OMApproach not a geophysical cause - issue is melting arctic sea ice due to human caused climate change, allowing navigation. Already starting. Arctic maybe open in summer by end of the century. Well known, and Russia/china benefit. Canada & Greenland become important for trade routes.
